Dog perspective!

No I’m not a dog but I know a few good friends that are.  These friends of mine will stand (actually run) and wonder about items that we often take for granted. How many times have you found the lawn sprinkler fascinating or the taste of a stick?  They are so interested in every creature in the world whether it be an ant or bee; maybe a bit to curious. Little things truly matter to my creatures whether it be that bone you are ready to throw out or a little rub of the belly they love it all. These are all minor events though until the big star walks through the door it’s not Adriana Grande but you.  They never get sick of seeing you no matter what you look like or how you might feel, a dog perspective never changes and I thank G-D for that.

Purge 2 – bad and good

Purge 2

I don’t believe I’m having an episode it’s just that this movie gave me so many reasons to hate but I still liked it at the end.  To be kind the acting was less then inspiring.  The typical Hollywood anti-religion and anti-wealth themes seeped through as well yet this didn’t distract as much as I expected mainly because the action scenes were well cut and the film moved at a rapid and engaging pace. There were also many twists and turns that I didn’t expect.  Purge Anarchy survives what could have been a deadly night because of these wonderful aspects.

What to do next until…

reflection

Most of us spend our time waiting for our next event or action until something stops us in our path.  When those moments occur it truly gives us a moment to reflect on what we truly have in our life or G-D forbid had, instead of waiting for our next conquest. I don’t want to wait till I’m forced into such situations because of illness or tragedy to reflect so I make sure I smell the roses on a regular basis.

This occurs with my “Sabbath” 1/2 rest. I say 1/2 rest because although I stop, rest and reflect my mind still ponders  about my future plans and dreams.  I’ve made an extra effort though to make sure that those thoughts don’t concern my business interest but charity, family and what I can do to make this world a bit better.   My Sabbath is usually spent at my home with loved ones enjoying the simple pleasures that I normally rush through during my daily routine whether it be reading the newspaper, talking to friends and family or even taking a longer shower. Please don’t let illness or tragedy be the impetus that makes you stop and reflect but allow it to become a part of your routine as well.

The Inbetweens

stuck in middle

They are the one’s that truly make the world move but nobody appears to notice until they’re gone.  The Inbetweens are not the loudest but their words truly make a difference. People forget to invite them to parties but when they come the party truly begins. They have strong values and convictions yet their appearances don’t fit the mold.  In the end many will take their glory but the Inbetweens will surely be the ones that are missed.

Israel stays till election day

Palestanian election

Israel should have a presence in the Gaza Strip until the Palestinian people can have a fair and free election that only includes parties that want peace with their neighbors. I believe that these elements exist in all communities but are often terrorized by those who seek power by all means necessary. Once the terrorist elements are eliminated then these individuals will step forward be vetted and then will have the opportunity to lead their people to a more fruitful peaceful existence within their borders and without.

Amalekites Today

israel move

Hash-m commanded the Israelite s to totally eliminate the Amelekites because they would be a thorn that would continually threaten the Jewish people and the innocent of the world. The Israelite’s didn’t fulfill the mission and today elements of Amalekites can still be seen. One of the key ways to determine if someone is such a despicable individual is to see that they target the innocent from behind.

Today Amalekite has shown it’s ugly face as demonstrated by the shooting down of a passenger plane without any regrets over the Ukraine, the indiscriminate firing of rockets to civilians in Tel Aviv, the killing of three innocent Yeshiva boys in Israel, and the imprisonment, torture and molestation of 3 young woman by Ariel Castro.  Showing sympathy for such individuals is like showing sympathy for a Cancer Cell. These elements must be completed eliminated with precision so their destruction doesn’t hurt the body as  a whole yet there existence must be no more. Hash-m commands no less and although it might appear painful because these individuals know how to hide among the innocent, we must believe the task is valiant and done for the good of all of us.

It pays to socialize

I often found it difficult to socialize over a long period of time because how much “small talk” could I speak. The advent of  social networks have allowed me to expand that talk by discussions of more controversial topics without the implication that those  direct conversation can result in and now they have taken it a step further by paying us for those conversations (see below).  Now more then ever it’s time to speak up and be heard it could  add a  few pennies to your wallet.

Which came first Good or Laws?

Purge 2

Are people innately good or is it because of the laws that we have in society that make us act in this way? We have seen history of man’s cruelty to man but also acts of incredible kindness and love even during those terrible times. War, slaughter, slavery, rape are all acts by men but we also  have acts of rescue, revival, repentance so how does that line formed. The “Purge” movie series proposes that laws are the major constraints that keep society from turning from savagery.

I tend to believe differently as I have witnessed many acts to prove that is not the case. During 911 when basic communications was knocked out in the village and lower east side people came together to try  and rescue those who were trapped and scared.  There wasn’t anarchy or chaos on the streets but a sense of community that brought us together as one people.  This community has occurred during many a crisis whether it be natural such as hurricanes and earthquakes or man made such as terrorist attacks and blackouts, where citizens have stepped up when government had stepped out.  Human beings in general have innate ability to care and love each other. It is only when we focus too much energy on those fringe elements that we forget about the good that is in so many whether there is a law in effect or not.
