Teacup-Don’t Spill

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

“Teacup” is the series I’ve started watching on Peacock and the suspense has grabbed me I just worry about the spills along the way. For, the characters are interesting enough to keep me watching but not enough if there is a shark jumping along the way. I’m sure there will be a slight spill here or there as even know the dialogue is a bit too long but I’m still drinking as if there is no tomorrow.  As the series “Lost” kept me wondering before an episode ended so has “Teacup” have me drinking even if it turns out to be Kool Aid. “Teacup” on Peacock worth a good drink now to determine if it’s actually good till the last drop.

Tell My Story

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

You are the youngest of the next generation so a great burden is placed on Y-O-U.  For if everything goes as “planned” you’ll be the one telling our story. We can plan to have it written one way but you will be the one interpreting for those that come after. So, in a sense we must actually be in your good grace if we even have a chapter as the hero rather then the villain. So, let me say you are wisest most important person I know and this might be a good time to start writing my chapter.

Happy Thanksgiving

I want to wish all my fellow citizens a happy, healthy, loving Thanksgiving with an extra slice of F-U-N on the inside. May G-D bless us all with the wonderful feeling of gratitude for how we got here, that we’re present together today and a year that is only getting better.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Schizophrenia Theory

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

The preeminence of cell phone, earphones and earbuds I believe is creating an epidemic of Schizophrenia in our country. We become so used to hearing voices constantly without actual people around us that when such devices are withdrawn a phantom voice can easily come into the picture.  Our minds are much more open to here these voices and our immune society is also weakened to fight back. We also are become more isolated from “the real world” as we stay tuned into those things literally we’re connected to instead. To help prevent this theory from become a prevalent philosophy maybe it’s time to tune out and tune into the sounds that come from loved ones and the real world around us instead.

Thanksgiving

My table is a bit smaller this year but my thankfulness is plentiful. Here are a few things (below) I’ve added to the table.

(1) HEALTHY-  Many a loved one has gone through difficult moments this year and although the war might not be won their appears to be a genuine ceasefire on this front.

(2) FREEDOM-  Not only have the election results caused me to believe that freedom will burn even brighter in the coming year but justice in my own personal life has me savoring this more ever day.

(3) INDEPENDENCE-  The country appears to be on a path that is less dependent on others as I am less depended on being a people pleaser as well.

(4) PEACE-  G-D willing the new path our country has taken will bring peace to many areas suffering and the new paths I’ve discovered will allow me to continue to reap this path in the coming year.

(5) SECURITY-  It appears we will be more safe and secure on our streets and on our borders with the new policies ahead. I  personally feel more secure with the quality of  police force defending justice on this corner of my world.

Thankful ?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

For too many “Thanksgiving” is just an illustration of what is others heart. They might be suffering from too many pains that feeling thankful is very hard. Maybe they are alone this holiday season or in such a toxic relationship they wish they were. They could be individuals suffering from mental health conditions are feel left out with the way the country is going.  I can understand their pain and feel for them during their time of despair. So let me give these individuals a bit of hope (below) and if this is your image is one in your mirror I hope it will give you a moment to look away as well.

(1) BREATHING- Try to take a moment to take a few extra deep breaths and focus on the ability to do so.

(2) 5 SENSES–  Explore the fives senses around in a way that is mindful of these abilities you have and/or focus more on the ones you have.

(3) CHANGE– Think about the ability to change and just do it even if it’s wearing a new type of shirt and see the door opening in a direction you never saw coming.

(4) CONTACT-  Speak to someone that is in your contact list but hasn’t been contacted recently and enjoy the conversation going forward.

(5 ) REMINENCE-  Take the dust off your old photo album and enjoy a memory or two from the past to bring some hope toward your future.

(6) STUDY – Look at those who came before and discover the trials and tribulations they encountered to put you way you’ve landed as you seek a brighter future.

(7) FREE –   Explore the freedom you have right now not allowing worry or fear drag you down.

Out Now I-N

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Every once in awhile I fall I-N. Where the views I hold are generally part of the “mainstream” and as the Rebel in me appears to be less so. With Trump scoring the popular vote and continuing to be in the majority dare I say I am as well?   It’s strange when this occurs and being who I am I probably won’t let it last. I’ll find a way to eat, drink or speak outside the bubble even as the bubble appears to be swallowing M-E.  Here are some rebel ways I still exist (below) more… coming soon.

(1) Mixed Cereal– I mix various cereals together in my breakfast plan.

(2) Border Faith– My faith line is on the boundaries of many different lines in Judiasm.

(3)  Pets-  Let’s just say I’m not a one dog family

(4) Acting my age-  My calendar doesn’t determine the way I act in anyway although my steps might be a bit slower.

(5)  Entertainment –  I don’t fit the categories I’m supposed to belong to.

Just Wondering Diet Pepsi??

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

They say most woman don’t want to be “objectified” but Diet Pepsi by Addison Rae hotly disagrees with that.  For this song is all about what “Addison” brings to the screen and let me say it’s not PG. One can say it’s just Addison interpretation but this song is jumping up the charts and it has nothing to do with the drink just the thirst. Addison man in this video is acting like he doesn’t care even as she puts in star played performance that would make any man drool.  Let’s face it as much as we fight it S-E-X/objectify  still sells as Addison clearly demonstrates. The times they maybe a changing but maybe in a direction that comes from the past.

The Creator

I’m in a world all alone. This feels so true especially in a crowded room where their thoughts see so far from mine. I will leap to something controversial to draw them in even though I know it eventually will pull me apart. The only hope is the “creations” I make as  just for a moment they look, feel and most significantly understand M-E. They can understand the pain, happiness, loneliness and just plain confusion which lies beneath as they study what came within.  So, I will continue to create and hope that will build some type of community that allows them to actually see M-E.

In Search Of …. TV Show Concept

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

“In Search Of” will be a show that seeks the genius hidden before our eyes. These will be individuals whom society has deemed as “dependable” but where their brilliance/creative and/or unique minds outshines the “normal”.  This show will focus on the struggles they have and the opportunity we are missing by not looking deeper within. “In Search Of” the show that showcases talent hidden from our eyes.
