Today there is a great deal between the big headlines of the day.  I decided to list the articles in terms of their newsworthiness.  I define newsworthiness as information that is  important and something that is new and unique.

(1) President Obama is scheduled to have a meeting with Central American leaders to deal with the rash of illegal immigrants entering the United States.

(2) Christians face death threat in ISIS controlled areas of Iraq.

(3) President Truman led a modest life upon leaving the White House

(4) Forbes Inc has been sold to Hong Kong Firm.

(5) Europe’s new right to be “forgotten” hinders on censorship issues.

(6) President Obama will be having a meeting with most African national leaders to see how they can better work together similar to one nation.

(7) Kidney stones increase as temperature increases over 80 degrees.

(8) 9% of Colorado population consume Marijuana at least once a month.

(9) The “Book of Mormon” is one of the highest grossing shows but is also one highest priced ticket on Broadway

(10) Hershey will be raising it’s chocolate prices 8% across the board due to shortages in the Cocoa bean market

(11)  An article discusses why it’s so hard to do nothing and how some individuals will accept pain rather then do nothing.

(12) A new book explores the History of the John Birch Society.

(13) Intel’s trinity of leaders with diverse personalities is one of the keys to it’s success,  according to  a new book on this topic.

(14) Sentences for sale of illegal drugs will be reduced due to new sentencing guidelines.

(15) World agrees to extend nuclear talks with Iran to late November as  a result Iran agrees to convert 20% enriched Uranium into fuel that can’t be used for nuclear weapons.

(16) Sea World is having a difficult time battling it’s image against animal rights activist.

(17 ) At Netroots the largest liberal gathering “Elizabeth Warren” is the star.

(18) Utah still may refuse to recognize gay marriage, under a new court order.

(19) Boko Haron continue it’s killing spree in Nigeria as  20 more innocent people are slaughtered

(20) The designated hitting rule gives the AL advantage over the NL it inter league match ups

(21) Soy Milk sales are up while White Milk sales are down although flavored milk appears to help with sluggish sales.

(22) Carolos Slim Mexican Billionaire might be in the market to take over an American company as he will be flush with cash after forced sale of part of his ownership in his Telicom business.
