Oscars

I can honestly say I haven’t seen one of the movies nominated for the Oscars this yet. I plan to see “American Hustle” this weekend to start my own judgment but just like the other nominees the trailers didn’t attract my attention.  I understand that these films maybe beautiful and full of brilliant talent but are they truly entertaining. That is what I hope to discover in the next few weeks.

HAVE YOU SEEN THESE FILMS? IF SO DO YOU BELIEVE THEY ARE THE TOP FILMS OF THE YEAR.

BANNED 2

IS THIS CONCEPT TO POLITICAL INCORRECT TO BE MADE INTO A FILM

Daniel is a man that has a strong feminine streak to him. He has played with dolls since he was a child and even enjoyed wearing his mothers clothes so everyone assumed he was “gay”.  That was until he met “Danny” a butch type woman who everyone assumed was a lesbian. Can these two truly hit it off it’s “An Extreme Love Story”.

If we had a tail.

man with tail

THAT’S SOME TAIL

The world would be a simpler place if we only had a tail.  We could know right away if someone was attracted to us or wanted us to walk away just by looking at their tail unless they were looking at the guy across the hall. We could itch that annoying spot on our back where are hands don’t go. If we trained our tail well it could probably close the door after we left

Having a tail wouldn’t be all paradise.   There would have to be new types of pants and skirts that would allow our tail to come out.  A tail would also be annoying to wash and style.  It also would be another spot that bugs could bite.  How the hell would you cover your tail in the winter  not to mention getting around those tough corners. Now that I think about it I think I’ll skip the tail at least for now but wings would be great.

No I’m not on drugs it’s just I couldn’t go to sleep last night

Today’s Popular Rap is hurting musicians

rap music

First let me state I am not an expert on the rap music but what I’ve heard recently truly hurts many musicians. What is disturbing is that Rap music is using electronic equipment to produce their sounds instead of authentic drums, guitars,  piano’s etc.  In the past rap music was know for authentic lyrics that were raw but real today there just repetitive.  Don’t get me wrong there are many talented artists still left like in the game like 50 Cents and Eminem who are true poets but they are becoming the minority and it’s a shame.  I believe the Rap music must get back to their roots where the lyrics and instruments truly hit home wherever your home might be.

Marine for all.

boot camp

Imagine if we all went through boot camp.  We would not only be physically stronger but just if not more important mentally stronger. In boot camp you get dressed down so you can stay cool even in the toughest battle conditions. Imagine if we were that strong in our daily life we wouldn’t be “offended” by every other word that was spoken. We could focus on the task at hand no matter what was in our way.  The brotherhood and sisterhood of accomplishing a task would build to more success within the team. This sounds great where do I sign up!   Uh oh I’m 20 years too late but I have a plan called PPC that could build such character. Details coming soon…..

Death of one life the opening of another.

new journey

Throughout our lives we start with one dream and then usually that dream dies but the key to keep going is to have another dream in a different pocket. In life we must therefore have many pockets.  We can not get crushed when a dream collapses but instead realize what we’ve learned from the adventure and try to use those lessons to build on a different goal.

Many of us start with the  dream of being President of the United States, or a famous movie star or even the leader of a rock & roll band. When the acting offers don’t come in many can still modify their dreams by performing for a local theatre group while making a living for their family.  When our race for school President fails we can instead decide that political office may not be for office but we can still get involved in local issues.  We might not have the opportunity to perform in a rock and roll band but maybe we can open our own bar and play with a local band on occasions.  In life many dreams may die but there death leads to a new life with many opportunities we never saw coming.

Need to be hungry.

go for it

I believe society has made it too comfortable that many people are unwilling to take the risks they need to truly succeed.  They become dependent on the fragile life  they need rather then break free to true independence.  It’s best for many too truly have  nothing to lose to be able to fully put their energies and efforts into success.

How many people afflicted with addictions are kept in their sickness because “kind people”  give them the means to keep destroying themselves?  This also occurs with welfare and “other poverty programs” that make the individual dependent on them and fearful of taking a chance for the better life.  Finally how many great entrepreneurs are held back because they are worried about losing the benefits of a job that they truly don’t like?  If these individuals were hungry they would take these risks which would make them more successful and make us a better society as a whole.  To conclude sometimes the best medicine is no medicine at all but instead the strength we gain from the battle.
