I was grateful G-D put me in a position to lend that helping hand. Don’t get me wrong it felt great to receive the accolades yet I was able to discern the difference between padding my ego and seeing a “higher calling”. They didn’t listen to what I said till a few hours later but maybe that is the lesson as well to not give up on what one believes even if it’s initially rejected. So in the end it’s not I told you so but gratefulness to the higher authority which humbly allowed me to serve.
