Hillary Clinton Supporters I understand and empathize with your concern as well as your pain for although we might walk in different shoes we both have gone through some glass. It is very difficult to see the candidate you supported with action and/or $$’s fall down after such promise. It feels as if you wasted your time and effort and for what? I guess because it’s best to try to make a difference then to sit out and watch differences made for you. Here are some other comforting words I hope will help.
FEAR- You as I have worried what will happen to our country the only difference is mine was in the recent past your’s is today. Yet we might feel some comfort in knowing our citizens are like divorced children moving from Republican to Democrats instead of mother and father. Throughout our history we have switched parties and some how we’ve survived. The Constitution has assured that one President will fulfill their duties not usurp them.
RHETORIC- Many times in the campaign the rhetoric used was not only over the top but fell in the cesspool. Remember though to be effective in a campaign you might have to much more prov active to rally your base then when you must to lead a country.
POLICIES- It is probably true that you and I might disagree with a policy or two, three…. but the results is what truly counts. If the policies fail to achieve the goals then the American people will decide to put in new leaders to change the policies.
EXTREMISM- In the past some President’s have abused their powers but when that occurs the other branches of power step in to stop him (for now). If the abuse continues unabated the American people will step in and vote for leaders that will fight for them instead and the courts will also checkmate any power grab.
RELAX- For the last eight years your leaders have been in power and that puts all the pressure on you when things didn’t go as planned. Now you can step back and smell the roses while we get a chance and if we screw up I’m sure you’ll point your thorns in our direction instead.
