They say it’s not polite to gloat but it’s also part of our animal instinct. We’ve put ourselves out on a physically, mentally and/or emotional challenge and when we succeed can you really not take a bit to our opponents? Of course secret gloating is the best where in your private group you share hi fives or even gloat alone but when that’s not convenient they’re other ways to show your glory without hurting others …. too much. I wonder how many extra Dunkin Donuts packages were delivered to the losing team in your life experiences? They may taste good eating them but secretly someone is gloating with every bite.
