film team

I’m considering putting together a film team that would shoot 30 second or less  high quality productions on a regular basis. These short clips would appear on sites such as “Snapchat” and would draw attention because of their quality and artistic value. Although these productions wouldn’t produce revenue initially we would gain revenue as we gained a following and might even be asked to take on larger production. In the end though we would produce a fine product that we could be proud to add to any resume and/or life experience . WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Frank Underwood

A toast to being up to date with the “House Of Cards”.  I’ve finished the last episode of the 3rd season last night and let’s just say it got the car back on the race track.  In the first two seasons I was glued to my computer as the dark side of the Underwood’s and their associates was developed in such a way that as much I hated to admit I liked them although  I know it was wrong in the real world.  It was like the Godfather for politics and Heath Ledger in the “Dark Night” combined. the third season went down a path many series seem to go where they change the characters too much and then your wondering what you’re watching. The last episode though brought at the end the real “Frank Underwood” and  it was brilliant!  So I raise a toast to Frank Underwood the fictional character may you always stay the way you are just make sure it never leaves the movies.

Wall Street journal 2

I know this is a stretch but in a newspaper that takes me over an hour to read there should be at least something a little humor to read… right?  Well at least that’s what I thought before reading the paper. Now I know this is one of the shortest blog pieces I’ve ever written.

(1)  If artificial Intelligence took over dumb entertainment would never exist. Therefore Artificial Intelligence must stay away from comedy films.

(2) Horror movie fans want to be accepted but then say they don’t care a lick about it.

Dallas Police Headquarters ATTACKED

DALLAS POLICE

Where is society going when basic respect and fear of peace officers goes down the drain? Let’s be clear there is a minority of police officers who do abuse their power but that is the minority. We of course must remove and punish officers that due abuse their authority but we must also discount voices that call for disrespecting those in law enforcement.  If society doesn’t learn to respect the police then we truly don’t respect peace in our communities.

Not what we bare?

helping hand 4

It is not the experiences that we go through that makes us who we are but how we deal with those experiences that count.  For many have had to bare many burdens but come out as a saint and then their are those that let one experience turn them into the devil.  The ability to deal with those experiences comes from two major elements in a character faith and self esteem. Understanding that your accomplishments and suffering are put in a place for a higher purpose helps one to deal with both properly. Having the inner confidence to lift your self from a difficult experience is something that can be brought on by both your inner core and your outer contacts.  Family and Friends help to build and strengthen these key characteristics in an individual. Therefore even if you don’t have those abilities naturally inside the ones your with can help build them so your wall will not crumble when difficulty arises.

Not Presidential

race for presidency

I will not vote for a candidate that doesn’t have the following experiences (below) or doesn’t participate in these activities.  These individuals would be fine for other positions but the President must be someone who truly understand and feels for what it is to be an average citizen in this country and truly must represent us and although I may agree with them  on policy issues these basic factors need to be key as well.

(1) Drove a car through traffic in the last five years.- You should understand where we all come from and how we get there.

(2) Utilized mass transportation within the last five years– Ditto.

(3) Have a faith in G-D and participated in a religious service at least once a year.  Many may have their doubts but we need a President who is willing to stay humble in office and truly knows that they must be forgiven.

(4) Understands Popular Culture (films, music, books, sports). They may not have had the opportunity to participate in all of today’s culture but must understand where, why and how we spend our leisure time.

(5) Given at least 5 % of their income and/or time to charity- Saying that you care about others is one thing but putting your monies behind is quite another.

(6)Gone food shopping and cooked some meal within the year-   We need a President who has some idea what it costs for a quart of Milk and  isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in the kitchen.

(7) Had a Pet with four legs within the last 2 years (allegory exemption but then must have the swimming type)- The President must actually show compassion and love for our 4 legged friends among us.

(8) Have a “normal marriage” and children. – We don’t want a President who claims that they’ve never had an argument with their spouse and children. Yes, we want a President who is traditionally married.

My Personal Diary- 6-11-15

diary

It’s a rare event to see the whole family together. It’s usually only occurs at funerals or weddings. Thank G-D it was the later.  Being the youngest of the entire family (cousins included) is positive until your about 12 but then it can become annoying because you’re treated like a baby in terms of what others believe you can do without the cuteness that brought them close to you.  Though the years though difference between ages become shorter as respect grows stronger.

WEDDING- My cousins from this side of the family are more traditional then me and you can imagine that distance my immediate family see’s when they consider me right on the border of Orthodox. I was the only one from the immediate family who participated in the wild dancing that occurred because they felt uncomfortable with the separation of the sexes. I see it both ways because sometimes individuals can feel isolated at a party because they don’t have a partner to dance with and this everyone could have a good time except those that are uncomfortable dancing with their own sex.

3 1/2 HOURS- I didn’t officially check my watch but I can conclude that I didn’t have more then 3 1/2 hours of decent sleep after the late night party and early morning ritual. Most of my body was ready though except my stomach still wanted to sleep.

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES- I got my political muscle in order as I debated an intellectually powerhouse and an overall great guy at the wedding. Too bad he’s on the wrong side but there’s always another a wedding (G-D willing) in the future to change his mind.

Venting Place

venting

We all need a place to let off some steam and in this PC world we live in it’s becoming more difficult to fight such a location that’s where the VENTING PLACE comes in. At the  Venting Place you will have a private room to scream and yell at a Ventee (one who receives verbal abuse for $) until that steam has left the system. You can choose from a Ventee that just take it or one who verbally fights back and also the topic you want to vent about. It’s time to have a place to let that steam rise to a higher place so you can be a better person, it’s time for the “Venting Place”. First location would be Washington D.C. with a phone and internet service available as well.

Wild & Crazy Orthodox

When people think of those that are traditional they see them as meek and timid but go to a Jewish wedding and your perspective will turn upside down. For those non-observant will sit quietly in their seats while the Orthodox are truly their to party.  Whether it’s drinking, dancing or just plain having a great time the Orthodox put to shame any that come in their way. Many cynics might say it’s their release valve from hours of studying and being observant but I just say they truly know how to have a good time.

Israel & Faith

It is a land that truly showcases faith! For a people who originally sent spies to see it’s beautiful only to receive an evil report that discouraged them from their ultimate journey. This same people who have been taken away from this holy land 2 times only to finally return after an annihilation that the world witnessed in horror, yet brought back a country that was dust and dirt into truly a land of milk and honey.  A symbol of faith that tells the world the Jewish people are truly the chosen people not by what we have but  what we can bring to the greater world an understanding of love between people’s and the ultimate love of G-D for all of us.
