ISIS killed not contained

nuclear disaster

The world can not sit and wait while ISIS grows comfortable in their lands. For every day they wait this evil multiplies and becomes more difficult to conquer.  Everyday they acquire more deadly and dangerous weapons with the sophistication to be able to use them on the innocent.  They acquire more bodies with greater talents to perform evil on a larger scale.  We waited for the Nazi empire to be destroyed only to see a destruction that the world had never seen before, let us not repeat this mistake and destroy ISIS today. For the death and destruction it brings today will be nothing compared to the death and destruction it can bring if it acquires only one mass destruction device. Evil can’t be contained but must be killed!

Need to Escape!

escape

Last night as I watched another episode of “House Of Cards” as I realized that I have a need to escape!  That escape must occur from wherever my “normal situation” takes me and can occur from reading a book, writing a blog piece, seeing a movie, being involved in a creative project or even listening to a song where the art takes me to a whole different place. The only way the escape will work is if all the pieces fit just right otherwise like a junkie I will need a new rush.  As my mind escapes into that world my adrenaline gives my body a rush that is unlike anything else.  That rush allows the mundane in life to be seen in a whole new perspective and jump starts for a “normal day” ahead until I get my next fix of “escape”.

My Diary 6-10-15

It was one of those days where frustration held a steady hand over me yet when night began that hand evaporated.  Work was steady but as if the water dropped one step at a time, annoying. Nothing in particular bothered me but the atmosphere of “all the same” with the walls every so slightly closing in on me.  Then the evening arrived and I let go of the common and allowed myself to be who I was. There was no extraordinary actions that occurred yet letting go of the tediousness opened a world upon itself.

Maslow Heirachy of Needs & Me

Those that have studied Psychology will understand the pyramid above as what motivates us at different points of our life. The bottom row is for those that are basically working for the basic survival needs of a person. Thank G-D  this hasn’t been too much a problem in my life. Yet as we go up the ladder it becomes more difficult to achieve the satisfaction we achieved at the lower realms.  It is much easier to see the food you bring to a table from your work then the love and esteem of others around you.  Self Actualization is the most difficult mark to achieve because no matter how you much you feel you’ve achieved there are so many more mountains that you might want to climb and once you get to the top of one it appears flat very quickly.  It also is extremely difficult because once you achieve one goal in self actualization you usually have to start way at the bottom to try to achieve your next goal.  In my own life this pursuit continues but as I move up in years I must learn that I must leave some mountains for my predecessors to climb. Maybe I’ll be able to feel that self actualization by knowing I put in the stake where others have and will climb.

My Personal Diary- 6-09-15

Yesterday was a blur. It’s not like I’m forgetting more then usual (I hope) but there wasn’t any event that seemed to lead to a build on to my history on this earth. Of course I worked as hard as normal and had some great family time but nothing different emerges from the ordinary except….

BACK PAIN- I’ve had this pain for a couple of days and although it isn’t dramatic it appears like a slow leak every once in awhile it pops up.

DISCUSSIONS- It was strange how everyone in my family was very non-chalet when I discussed a living will.

BOTHERSOME- I was annoyed how the NY Times continues to throw puffs of air at Marco’s Rubio campaign while the wind passes most other campaigns.

MISSED- I got to watch a few minutes of the NBA finals but unless I become a night owl  or call in sick will continue to miss the second half.

FINALLY- Planning an exciting trip with a friend next week for a couple of days that could change the picture or at least add a few more colors… Details coming soon.

Lower Cost + Save Life’s = Prison Reform

prison boot camp 2

As Bernard Kerik NYC former Police Commissioner has said in his recent book “From Jailer to Jailed” it’s time to reform the criminal justice system so it saves $’s and save life’s.  Long Term jail sentences over 5 years should be reserved for the worst of the worst (murders, rapist, arsonists etc) while most would receive a punishment based on their total life experience, the cost & benefit to society for their punishment, ability to reform, and of course punishment fit for crime.  Most prisons could be replaced with basic tents with boot camps where those sentenced for their crimes would have to build character for their shorter service and the savings could go into training for the real world (including civic responsibility, technical training, GED diplomas, drug treatment, psychological counseling, and parental training). Of course once they served their sentence they would still have to pay back society with a fine to those they harmed and society as a whole taken from their paycheck. Yet within years they could return to be a normal citizens if they don’t break their probation and even have their felony reduced to a misdemeanor if they keep up their good behavior.  As we cut back on prison expenses we save money, bring families back together, punish the wrong doer and truly saves life’s across the board.

Child Fear

afraid 2

At this point in my life it takes a very special movie horror movie to even make me jump so if you want to create fear in my life then let me worry about my children. My mind wanders to some of the scariest places on earth and beyond when they come home later then expected or leave in an angry mood. I can allow the worry creep up on me as if Jason is slowly walking up behind me.  Everything will appear nice and calm until a sudden slash of terror grips me as a door slowly opens revealing my son from a late night party.  Rain thundering down on me it the middle of the empty woods is nothing to the blood curling fear that can reside in my pulsating heart.  If this scares you too much maybe it’s time you have a dog or cat instead.

diary

It was another Monday for me but for the wife of a friend it was a last goodbye. Many times we take for granted being with a loved one and don’t appreciate those simple moments until it’s too late. If we move our hand away from a candle that is being lit we may never see it glow maybe if we can took an extra moment more to spend  with loved ones we would see the light they bring into our lives as well.

THE JUMP- While watching an episode of the “House of Cards” my dog decided to have a Bruce Jenner moment (yes Bruce) and make a courageous 4 foot jump into my lap.

SLIGHT PAIN- A slight back pain can slowly become a large pain if you don’t change the channel and move to a different network. I just hope the remote control is still working.

FIRER

You're Fired

In many businesses it’s very difficult to fire staff that deserves the ax so why not hire “THE FIRER“.  When you’re put in that difficult situation just contact our hotline/and or website with all the particulars and will send someone over who will perform this action with the kid or tough gloves needed for this particular job. We understand how difficult it can be to fire an individual but leaving a poor worker on the payroll can only lead to lower profits and morale at the workplace. We understand that even firing a poor employee can lead to shortages in the workforce, therefore we can have a part-time worker ready to fill their shoes so you’re not left out in the cold.  Firing is never easy  and can even lead to lawsuits, physical alterations, or even future threats isn’t it time to let it be done by a professional? It’s time to hire THE FIRER and let work continue to move forward.

Living Will

Living Will

I want to live every moment not just exist yet I’m also “Pro-Life” so I write this to insure their is no confusion if the situation warrants such a difficult decision.  I want to be a Guinea Pig and have every experimental treatment possible tried on me if the picture appears extremely bleak. To defray costs I ask that the procedures be made public (T.V, internet etc) in a way that causes the least amount of pain to my loved ones.  If G-D forbid the doctor(s) say there are no options on the table and that my feeding tube should be pulled there is one I ask to be utilized. Allow my body to rest in a lake for 18 minutes with a few prayers along the way. If I recover it will be a miracle that will bring people closer to G-D and if it doesn’t well you gave me one last chance and allowed me one last chance for life not existence.
