Religion of the Non-Believers

Make no mistake about it those without “any real faith” truly believe in their own religion. While those with faith will quote a holy scripture as evidence of that faith the “non believers” will idolize a person.  When the idolized person speaks their words are held to be true even if their deeds don’t match up.  Their faith will even allow them to skip the facts on the ground because their leader(s) no better about the “future”.  This faith can actually be more dangerous then a religious doctrine as we have seen with the rise of leaders  in the past like Stalin and Hitler.  While those with true faith can divorce themselves from a religious leader who sways from the doctrine, those without “faith” believe that person is the doctrine.  Therefore be wary of those that say they have “no faith” because their religion might be more dangerous then we think.

Ferguson a trial by the mob.

   Justice 2

I empathize with the victims of injustice because I was a victim as well but I fear that the mob might be taking over in Ferguson Missouri’s justice system.  This mob mentality is based on conviction first then trial later for Darren Wilson.  Officer Wilson to the mob is a symbol of injustice in their society not a person accused of a crime. They want justice not in this particular case but as punishment for the wrongs committed against them over the years.

Yet vengeance without justice leads only to more vengeance and makes things worse for all those involved.  Mr. Wilson should probably be arrested for the death of Michael Brown if only to insure that all the facts are presented clearly to the public but that’s a far cry from conviction. Let us truly seek justice for every individual and leave vengeance for G-D to sort out.

Rules For Parents

child and dad

There appears to be a clear set of definitive rules for any occupation or sport that you might occupy but when it comes to being a parent those rules are hard to find. Let’s be a bit more clear the rules on being a bad abusive parent are fairly clear but to be a good parent that’ s an entirely new ballgame.  How generous should you be without spoiling your child? Is it more important to let your child struggle out of that situation or do they need a helping hand and foot?

The funny thing is even thought there is no clear rule book we can clearly see when a parent has hit that home run. Whether it be the parent that stays up endless hours helping their child recover from a bad cold, or a parent who will act with enthusiasm as they take their child to a movie they find annoying ; good parenting is as clear as a pane of glass. I guess they tried out a rule book in the past but replaced with love and caring instead. The great thing about being a parent is that although you might fail a quiz every once in awhile it’s a class (G-D willing) you get to take over and over again and like a good wine only gets better over time.

Laughing to silence!

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Uncategorized - No Comments

When those in the media ridicule individuals of a certain political persuasion it might not be an attempt to make people laugh but to silence those voices.  If they can make a serious person appear to be silly because of a simple unforced error(s) then those who would have considered truly listening will close their ears to what is truly said.  The media will leave an imprint in the public’s head so their ability to truly deceiver the important words said will instead be colored by the caricature they have presented. We as a nation will suffer because of the important insight that might be gained has been instead ignored.  When the media jumps on such an individual we in the public must truly understand if the purpose is for humor or to keep their own political power base in control.  Therefore take the time to listen carefully to the individual being attacked before the laughs control the thoughts in your head.

He was the voice that told us it was truly Saturday Night and time to laugh.  His voice introduced some of the biggest names in show business to the home screen while he kept his appearance off that screen.  RIP Don Pardo  your voice may not be alive today but the great memories it brings will last many a lifetime.

Appearing Naked!

embarrassed 2

I apologize for those in advance who thought that they might be physically titillated by this blog; I intend to grow the mental aspect instead.  The truth is we can appear physically naked but still be wearing plenty of layers. For it is the layers around your inner thoughts that keep you hidden from the world. Here are a few ways (below) you can start to feel comfortable mentally naked.

(1) Sing and Dance in front of others without worrying about being Fred Astaire or Elvis. Realize that your talent or lack thereof will only last into people’s heads until the next song is played.

(2) Tell a true story about a tough experience in your life whether you’ve overcome it or not, to someone who you never revealed this weakness to and then listen with your heart to their story.

(3) Reveal a guilty pleasure that you’ve enjoyed but have never told anyone about because it doesn’t fit your image.

(4) Watch a sentimental movie and allow yourself a moment to cry.

(5) Allow yourself a moment to act like a child again whether it’s with your family dog, your child, or even grandchild.

Jamaica & Colorado what do they have in common?

stoned 2

Jamaica and  Colorado appear to be vastly different, from their climate to the land masses but what draws them together is  “Opium for the masses”.  Today’s Opium maybe called Gangia or Pot either way it’s a way to keep the masses quiet.  Denver has utilized legalization of this drug to be the panacea for  all it’s problems from collecting extra tax revenue for the politicians pockets to “curing illness”, it’s their new wonder drug. Jamaica has kept it illegal  in name only as its citizens openly sell it all tourist resorts. This way there can be a few extra dollars in an economy that is barely moving. They can also can insure that many of their citizens are so stoned that they see no problem, no matter how many problems those with clear eyes can see.

Please note I’m for the legalization of this and many illegal substances (with many tight controls) but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be wary of how many power might use it legally or illegally for their benefit. For a dopie society falls prey to dope while freedoms and opportunities crumble besides them.  Legalization must occur to get the bullets out of dealing this drug but education must also occur so the ballots aren’t thrown away as well.

True Enemy of Islamist Radicals= Pirate Radio

pirate radio 2

If we are to truly launch a war against Islamist Radicals that would due us harm, it can’t just be fought with guns and bullets but by Pirate Radio. Pirate radio would play a wide variety of music that professors freedom for the individual and have debates on various issues such as women’s right, modern versions of Islamic faith to peace with the Jewish State and world.  The shows wouldn’t be preachy but open the door to discussion and debate within the communities at large.  Radio’s that pick up these channels would be sent in secret ways to the community and in items that don’t appear to be radios at all.  Once people get the taste of freedom through this radio they will join the battle for that freedom as well.

Jamaican Chocolate is Nuts!

black river choc

There is one chocolate that is more nuttier then the rest. It isn’t the type of nuts that you would add to the chocolate but the actually flavor of the chocolate that counts. “Black River”  Dark has that dry nutty flavor that proves Chocolate truly does come from the trees.  It is one of the most difficult chocolates to locate and when you find it be ready to expend some real resources $$ to get it ($7.oo a bar) but if you want the authentic taste of chocolate this is an expense you’ll learn to bear to deal with.

Ferguson Missouri – Needs People Power

ferguson

It’s time that the people of Ferguson as well as the good people of Chicago, Detroit and Newark took control of their own neighborhood(s) and kicked the gangsters and opportunist out.  This process will take time and training but it can and  should be done. Here’s a few steps in that process.

(1) Insure that there is a timely and orderly process in which incidents are reported to the community at large and that this blueprint is followed to the key in most cases. If a deviation from this pattern must occur let the community know immediately why this is occurring and when it will be corrected.

(2) Build and/or strengthen Guardian Angles and/or community policing units that have all the means necessary to watch and protect people(s) and property within their community.

(3) Develop community organizers that truly care about the community and not their own political career. That will work with the local police to insure that their neighborhoods are protected as well as the rights of the citizens.

(4) Find ways for those individuals who are unemployed in such communities to work part-time to help secure the neighborhood by reporting incidents to the local police of incidence of possible harm to persons or property.

(5) Ask the police force to become more active in good will gestures in the community and  whether through getting involved in charity activities in the community or going out and meeting with the citizens on a regular basis and listening.

(6) Tell gangsters and rioters that they aren’t welcome in the community and only peaceful protesters are. Insure that the rights of the innocent will be defended in the community if incidents occur in the future.

(7) Insist on programs that bring jobs and help families work together in the community
