The beauty of one

in awe

No matter how different we might appear and no matter how far apart we might seem we all are connected.  We can try to separate ourselves by ethnicity, wealth, or culture but in the end we all come from the same starting place and end in the same place (on this earth). No matter how our lifestyle appear different we all have to eat, drink, go to sleep and even visit the John. Isn’t it wonderful to know that we all have one G-D who has brought has here, who loves us and listens to each one of our prayers to him.  One G-D that is there for us all no matter how different we might seem to appear.

What could have been.

President Obama

As President Obama enters his lame duck period of his presidency we must ask what could have been?  This President who inspired the young, the poor and those yearning for a better day has left so many behind.  The policies this President has passed has truly hurt those who believed in him the most when he first came to power and yet they still want to believe.  The President still has the bully pulpit and can use it to reach out to those in despair. Here are just a few ways he can truly make a difference without signing any new policies into effect.

(1) Visit the real inner city and bring a message of hope through personal growth and responsibility.

(2) Travel to local Church’s and Shul’s and inspire young people to gain a foothold in these wonderful institutions as well.

(3) Go to local high schools and inspire teachers to reach out to those young people who are falling further and further behind.

(4) Come forth and say you’re sorry for all the political name calling and pledge to work on common ground solutions with those who have differing political philosophies.  Pledge not only to stop the name calling but not to respond in kind when it comes your way.

(5) Admit you made mistakes in Benghazi and other scandals and truly pledge to provide a full accountability to the American people whatever personal loses you might suffer to gain this truth.

(6) Visit local entrepreneurs and celebrate their success in making this country a bit better.

(7) Volunteer on a regular basis at varies charities and inspire others to get involved as well.

Does it make you happy?

yellow brick

How do you know if something or someone truly makes you happy? True happiness can be achieved with an object or person when everyone else doesn’t give a damn but you’re still as excited as if they did.  For example if you have this business idea that you can’t get out of your head but when you tell others they act in an ambivalent way toward it yet there reaction doesn’t deter you and you continue to push ahead.  If on the other hand they hate the idea and you decide to push ahead anyway it might be because you want to prove something. Of course it’s easy to pursue a goal or person that everyone supports you. This is how you can determine whether the passion is home grown or something that others have brought into you and to find your true path to happiness.

Dreams vs Reality

dream reality

WHICH DO YOU LET BECOME YOUR TRUTH?

Dreams give you the inspiration to try something new but reality can stop you in your footprints.  You might dream of creating an exciting new business but the reality of long hard hours, regulations, taxes, and finding help might make that dream a nightmare.  You might dream about being elected to office but the long bored meetings about nothing, endless bickering might make you just want to leave it to the politicians.

The truth is we can’t let reality end our dreams wherever they might take us.  We just must plan ahead for the reality that might ensue.  Though even with the greatest plans ahead new realities like new regulations will pop up where they were not expected but as long as we dream of better days we will overcome those realities and a new dream will await.
