End Traffic – continues

Traffic 2

We can an agree traffic sucks. It adds to air pollution, ruins relationships, waste time, hurts business productivity, and causes unnecessary suffering for millions. We also can agree that most of the traffic is caused by accidents. Here are a few solutions that might help alleviate this problem.

(1) A manufacturer that develops a technology that has been proven to prevent accidents (some already exist) and enable that technology to be installed on older as well as new cars at a reasonable price will not pay taxes on the profits received from such a technology.

(2) A company will pay no taxes on a device(s) that has been proven to enables traffic to move more effectively after an accident or allows a way for accidents to be cleaned up quicker. The company must insure that these devices are available to all safety officials at a price they can afford to receive such benefit noted above.

Would this work?

dog watching tv 1 dog watching tv 2

It’s hard having a new dog  because it takes so much time and money to train him/her. Wouldn’t it be great if they could model a behavior they watched on television? A monitor would see if this behavior was achieved and then send a reward for their good behavior. Not only would you have a smarter dog but also a dog that actually did something when you were away. The boob tube in this case would become the smart-tube until “Rover” learns where the remote control is kept.  What’s your opinion? I’d love to know!!

A safety net that becomes a prison cell

Happy Worker

I’m all for the safety net to help those who are down on their luck but we must make sure that it is big enough so that people will have the ability to escape, instead of being trapped in it’s web. Please review some of the ways I believe this can be accomplished (below)

1. We can free the person on welfare by requiring them to  work for the system and/or receive training to get out of the system.

2.  Wouldn’t it be great if  the people on disability would be trained to have the ability to take part-time jobs and/or develop skills so they can be a productive force for our country and themselves?

3. Would we be able to free those individuals on food stamps by giving them the seeds to grow their own fruit and vegetables then be locked in a system of poverty and hopelessness.

Kindness comes with truth which means helping those learn to help themselves.

Shout out the truth

Yelling

It appears that some people will yell at others when they feel their losing an argument. They use this tactic to annoy the individual into submission. This topic is constantly used in political arguments where emotions outweigh logic.  Just like a bully who frightens people this individual needs to be dealt with but how? How does a person battle against these tactics?

(1) Ignore their outburst but deal with the emotional side of their argument “For example I understand your pain but…”

(2)Focus on others who are in the audience and insure that there interests are pursued with your argument.

(3) Tell the individual that you appreciate their passion on the issues but that we should show respect for all points of view.

(4) Do not continue the debate if nothing else is gained. State your points clearly, logical and with passion but no when enough is enough and move on.

A bridge between people’s

bridge between people one bridge between people two

I’d like to think that I can help build a bridge between various people’s that appear oceans apart. This doesn’t occur by selling out ones principles but by finding common ground between them. Once that common ground is found then they can work together to make sure they’re both successful in promoting and building on this groundwork.

One example of a solution that could have common ground is on the abortion issue (no I’m not drunk….yet) .  My solution on abortion takes in account the views of those that are Pro-Life (myself) and those that are Pro-Choice (my immediate family).  It is an unborn baby transplant from a woman that doesn’t want to carry a baby to a woman that wants to carry a baby. This procedure once developed could take place in those facilities that originally terminated pregnancy therefore insuring that they don’t expend monies lobbying against research in developing such procedures. By looking at both sides on many issues we can find ways to insure that policies are developed that have general public support and  actually work to solve a problem.

Fighting Corruption (Step 1) means changing guard

corruption corruption 2

If we truly want to fight corruption in our political system we must insure the same competition that occurs in the free market system occurs in our political system.  This can only occur if we modify the current system by instituting term limits (see specs below) and have open primaries for local offices.  We also must make sure that before a judge can run for office that there qualifications are certified by a board made up of individuals from diverse political backgrounds.  Finally we must rotate those who work for the government to different agencies  that can utilize their talents to insure that these agencies stay fresh with new blood and new ideas.  Please note this is only step 1. Please tell me what you think about this plan.

Term Limits

(1) You can only serve two consecutive terms in the Senate and then have to sit out for at least one electoral cycle before you can run or be appointed for any political office.  During the time that you sit out you can not participate in any paid  lobbying activity.

(2) You can only serve four terms in the House (8 years) and all conditions above apply.

(3) Term limits should also apply to all local and state offices as well as Presidents of any political party  with the same conditions noted above.

2nd Chances

2nd chances 8 track

Imagine a store and/or website that sells items that have either been discontinued or have failed in their start-up.  This store would give businesses a 2nd chance to hit the market and also give a home to those products that have a special meaning to the consumer but maybe not the marketplace.  Items would be purchased on a consignment basis so the only cost to the actual store would be the space it would be give up while the website would charge a token fee and get a cut on the actual sale that is made. So if you’re into 2nd chances why don’t you join me on this venture

NBA VS NFL

Even if you aren’t a Sports Fan this is Very Interesting!

[]****************[]

36 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested! for shoplifting

21 currently are defendants in lawsuits, and

84 have been arrested for drunk driving

in the last year !

Can you guess which organization this is?

Is it the NBA Or NFL?

Give up yet?

Scroll down,

[]

Neither,

it’s the 535 members of the

United States Congress

The same group of Idiots that crank out

hundreds of new laws each year

designed to keep the rest of us in line..

You gotta pass this one on!

This is the real problem with America today! They keep us fighting amongst our selves through partisan politics while the politicians gain more controls and hold themselves to a different set of standards. If you really want to change the system stop pointing fingers at someone who is of a different political affiliation than you and put pressure on the officials you voted in to work together for the betterment of the people.    If you really want to start to make a change perhaps you will take a moment to think about this. If we stop voting for D‘s and R’s and vote for people with character this would end

The Stupid Instinct

skydiving     I just love this picture.

The stupid instinct leads us to do something that we know is going to hurt us but we still do it. For example the first time someone smokes a cigarette or takes illegal drugs what makes them commit this act? Is it the peer pressure that is brought upon them? Is it the feeling of invincibility or rebellion against society? Here are just a few examples of how we can battle it.

(1) Understand yourself- your strengths and weaknesses

(A) If you are the rebellious type do a rebellious activity that doesn’t hurt yourself or others. Try sky-diving,  going to a wild concert (no drugs included), having purple hair but don’t hurt yourself.

(B) If you get depressed easily find an activity that is peaceful and fun for you (write, read, paint, sing) and/or get treatment for those emotions that bring you down just don’t hurt yourself

(C) If you are lonely and feel that you don’t belong. Join a Meetup group or Facebook group that you have a passion for (ex cooking, Medieval Times, Star Wars etc) . You are a wonderful person so try your best to enjoy life.

(D) If you feel invincible then get involved in your local Church or Shul. Go rock climbing, skydiving, or get involved in an X game activity. Take risks that are fun but not deadly.
