National Pet Day- I forgot

I’m sorry I forgot about “National Pet Day”. Come on there was a lot on my plate and it was delicious. Yes, I know that “Spot’s” owner got him a new leach but at least we got to spend some extra time together even if I was preoccupied I was still there.. sorta. Can we just make today “National Pet Day” I promise I’ll be good and won’t leave a mess … oh wait that’s you. Wait these aren’t my dogs (above) mine have no idea that yesterday was “National Pet Day” and I plead with you not to tell them I’ll give you a biscuit.

Dog Dreams

What are they dreaming about? Do they have dreams with humans speaking and if so is it communicated to them in dog or human language? Do they have nightmares and if so is it a raging dog, another animal or human to blame for their subconscious misery? Could their dream(s) have a significant impact in their personality or is it forgotten as soon as they get up? We may never know the answer to these questions but they must enjoy it because they spend a hell of a lot time sleeping. All I can say is keep it up because you give me a moment to accomplish my goals and are so cute to look at.

It’s hard having a new dog because it takes so much time and money to train him/her. Wouldn’t it be great if they could model a behavior they watched on television? A monitor would see if this behavior was achieved and then send a reward for their good behavior. Not only would you have a smarter dog but also a dog that actually did something when you were away. The boob tube in this case would become the smart-tube until “Rover” learns where the remote control is kept. What’s your opinion? I’d love to know!!
