Before you tear your heart, soul and wallet out preparing for that “ACTING ROLE” let me teach you 2  basic rules that might come in handy. These two rules could be used for any acting role whether it be T.V, Movies, or the Theater and although they are basic they are probably left out in many of the greatest professors classes.

WAITING-  To act is to wait! If you have to be somewhere before or after a shoot this might not be the career move for you. For acting is not only the skill done at the moment but the ability to wait to share that skill with the world or at least your director. 

LISTENING- You can feel the passion of your character coming through but if you aren’t willing to listen how the Director see’s it you will be out of focus. For acting is pretending but in the house and mind of those that lead such a production not entirely on your own.

My dogs contain the two sides of my brain. There is the Serious Sidney side that is committed to the daily activities and the Silly Cinnamon side that tries to find some fun in almost anything I do. These two sides compete for my attention as do my two dogs and at times one side appears to be in total control until the other side pops in.    It’s great to have these dogs which help me realize who I am and help me balance my dog (Freudian slip) so as to insure I accomplish my goals and have fun along the way.

When actually money leaves your hand instead of plastic their is a fade to reality that steps in, you’re actually spending it.  It is much easier to push a piece of plastic along the shopping line or throw some chips on the table then see this green material leave your pockets. Your purchases become a bit more tighter when Alexander departs your wallet rather AMEX and you take a minute more in thinking do I really need this.  Therefore the next time you decide to go shopping make sure you limit your plastic and pull out some green instead and watch your money grow faster then ever before.

(5) FUNNY- Have you thrown in a few funny lines especially about your critics to add to your applause?
