Making it to a 100 is quite an achievement in any bodies life but to have the outstanding artistic achievements that Mr. Douglas has accomplished adds a whole new group of candles to his cake. His films expand many decades from classics like “The Glass Menagerie”to 20,000 Leagues Under to the Sea all the way to Spartacus as well as appearing in dozen of television production. Yet it is not only the accomplishments that he has achieved that have made his life so memorable but also the wonderful achievements of his talented children. So Happy Birthday Kirk Douglas a man who has added so much art not only to his generation but to many that have proceeded it.
