The people of Alaska especially those in the outer cities have a toughness that most in the other 49 states can’t comprehend and while I am here I’ve decided to add my own version. Yes these individuals can go without all the regular aspects of life that we  in the other 49 couldn’t even think about including electricity, regular water, light and even Mc Donald’s but can they go without their pajama bottoms. That’s right while I was in Alaska I slept without pajama bottoms. To add to my toughness I drank Orange Juice that wasn’t refrigerated for over 12 hours.  It might have been because I forget those bottoms and didn’t have a refrigerator or maybe Alaska is making me tougher after all.

You”re tip is included in the bill but they been extra nice, should you show it with cash on the side or is a simple thank you good enough and if so how much is too much? I guess it depends on how much is left in your pocket and whether you’re going to a casino or have to eat again. The truth is you can’t top the Trumps but it’s nice to give a little more when you can and “over the tip” only occurs when  you have other expenses that need  to occur before, during or afterwards that might be hurt by donating these  extra funds. It also can occur when you lose out on something you’ve planned for because you forgot to include this generosity. To conclude extra tipping should occur only when your heart moves and there’s money in your pocket not when you feel others are doing the same.

Alexander Hamilton one of the principal authors and supporters of the U.S Constitution had one of his most brilliant ideas left out, which needs to become the 28th Amendment to this important document.  It would  allow the state governments to bring impeachment charges against a sitting President.  A further update would allow only a majority of the state houses to vote  for such an action for it to take place.  Therefore if 26 states decided that the President of the United States abused  his rights in office or acted  in an unconstitutional way this  President would face legal action to be removed. Imagine if this amendment was adopted  4 years earlier would we still be sitting with President Obama or would Biden be running for his 2nd term?

The man who climbed the Trump Towers claims he had a meeting with Donald Trump but the door was locked. The  climber said ” I know how Donald hates when people aren’t punctual so what other choice did I have.  This way Donald and I could have that face to face, that is as long as he opened up the window.”  The climber admitted that this was a tall order to perform but with times as difficult as they are sometimes you have to go to extraordinary heights. By the way if you believe this story I’ve got a building to sell  you as well.

The game of craps like most games of chance has more to do with how much to lose and how much to win?  It’s obvious when  your pockets are empty or figuratively so it’s time to leave the table but when they are full is a whole different story. You don’t want to put your mortgage payment, car payment or marriage on the roll of the dice so you pull away from the table when it’s no longer fun but when  you’ve won money well can you win a bit more. You have to consider an amount you want to win in your head and leave it there. If for example you want to win  $300 and are up to  $500 then  giving back $200 to the  house  isn’t so bad  but if you give  back $400 and already spent $500 well then you’re winning dice have become cold.  Therefore it’s not just walking away from the table as a winner that counts but how much you’re willing to walk with that counts as well.

I was watching a television show that challenged the athletes of today to perform with the same technology that existed yesteryear when superstars such as Jesse Owens performed in front of the world stage. Yet let’s take it a step further and compare the intellects of today Vs yesteryear as well.  Does technology and advances in science give such an edge to the extraordinary individuals of today vs those  of past generations? Could they win in those  times with only the  bodies and minds they have today? In the show some athletes were able to overcome such barriers and still rise to the top while others fell. Yet it isn’t just the technology that has just changed but the environmental conditions and motivating factors. Those in the past probably had less hours to train but also less  distractions such as television and cell phones.  The truth is we  may never know so it’s best to appreciate the accomplishments of talent from every generations and wonder could they or could we compete with them today?
