I had a few more then I should have so I might regret this blog post in the morning but what the hell.  It wasn’t totally my fault as how many times in your life to you get 1st Class airfare with all drinks included. Anyway let’s just say I had a few too many White Russians but who’s counting (4ish).  Now I have a few hours or so to kill at the airport so I decided to input some vital information to my friends, family and close enemies. Life is good but it’s a whole lot more fun with a bit more alcohol in the blood at least for the moment. Some how the boring events we experience are full of new lights and excitement that we might have not discovered before. I don’t advocate getting drunk but a bit tipsy might help.  To conclude if you’re not driving and it’s free grab a glass it could give you a whole new perspective that’s a lot more fun… until the morning.

Alaska is a place any person should visit for the wonderful scenario that can’t be captured in any picture but for wild animals NY will do.  Landing on an Ice Berg is an experience that can’t be topped yet finding a bear from miles away well let’s just say I’ll take my NYC Pigeon instead. The truth is I see more wild animals up close and personal in NY then I see in Alaska. The animals I closely see in my area of NY include Hawks, Bunny Rabbits, Wild Turkey’s, Chipmunks, and even an occasional Prairie dog or something close to it.  While in Alaska my study of wild animals led me up and close to a Raven and you know what that symbolizes. Come to Alaska for the wild country and  just don’t expect to see many wild animals.

Thomas Jefferson has always been one of my political heroes but as I read Ron Chenow’s book on Alexander Hamilton I may have  to rewrite my heroes page or at least edit it.  I would normally say a book about Alexander Hamilton might betray this leader in the bright lights but this book takes us to his dark side of Hamilton as well and therefore negative input on Thomas Jefferson must carefully considered as well.  Thomas Jefferson is portrayed not just as an idealogue of small localized government but also a political vindictive individual who didn’t have the courage to take on his opponents directly but used surrogates to advance “his cause”. I’m only approximately 1/2 way through this book and therefore those opinions might be tempered but no matter what this reading has tampered the light I had on Thomas Jefferson. The truth is the more we read the whole truth  about any of our heroes the more likely we will  realize the fragility of their greatness and the weaknesses that could have destroyed their brilliant light.

After enjoying several cruise ships I’ve encountered the following side effects (below) have you?

(1) VERTIGO- A feeling as if you’re still on the ship bouncing back and forth. It’s as if you had a few beverages with a bit more alcohol so I enjoy it as long as it doesn’t get too rough. It also appears to be enhanced if you go for a bumpy bus or train ride afterwards.

(2) GLUTTONY- You’re mind and body expect the same quantity of food and drinks (depending on your package) that you received on the water on land. 

(3) TREATMENT- The service on most cruise ships is exceptional but then you hit the “Bronx Cheer” in your real world “where can I help you” is only heard in your mind.  

She/He is your soulmate just from a different universe. You both feel a connection that pulls you together but their are other planets much closer. Do you stay on this course even though their are strong differences that remain or do you let the energies around you pull you apart? I guess it depends how many moons you share between your orbits and whether you truly can live on each others planets. This connection will eventually pull you together but will it be within this light speed or when you visit a different galaxy will depend on the pull and push you keep inside.
