If you could trade one bodily function with another person and still receive the same benefit what would it be? I would trade sleep because if I could reduce my hours in 1/2 how much more would I be able to accomplish! I would trade it for eating or even going to the bathroom because even at those times I can continue to think and read, especially if those hours were before everyone else got up. So if anyone can find a way to make this trade occur I’m all in.
Here are the top stories from the weekend Edition of the Wall Street Journal for 1/03/15 that I could scribble on one piece of paper. Therefore I decided to focus on 4 stories (below) and give a bit more depth to them.
(1) Europe’s Empty Church’s are for sale
(A) Observant Christianity continues to decline in Europe while Islam Expands
(B) Islam has gone from 4 % of the population in Europe to 6 % in 2010 and continues to grow.
(C) Judaism has been steady.
(D) 515 Churches closed in Germany, 200 Danish churches closed,
(E) Churches are being used as Skating rinks, Supermarkets even as a Frankstein themed restaurant.
(2) Pope is expected to pick unusual Cardinals
(A) He is expected to pick Cardinals with a more liberal view on Gays & accepting Divorcees.
(B) The Pope is also more likely to appoint non-westerners into the church hierarchy especially from Latin America.
(C) Cardinals help decide church policy and appoint new Pope.
(D) New Cardinals replace individuals that have turned 80 years old.
(3) Ellie Stefarlik becomes the youngest woman to sit in Congress.
(A) Admires Margaret Thatcher
(B) Harvard Graduate
(C) Worked for President George W Bush
(D) Believes in cooperation not confrontation especially if it’s beneficial to her constituents.
(E) Is 30 years old
(4) Depression of 1920 was fought from a completely different path then today’s political world.
A. Raised Interest Rates and Balanced the budget.
B. Depression ended in 18 months vs 43 months in 1929 Depression.
(5) Love of hot food is explored.
A. Capsaicin molecule produces the heat like sensation.
B. This molecule works with the same area of the brain that produces pain and pleasure
C. Animals can not be trained to enjoy spicy food at least with the current research.
D. Carolina Reaper is the hottest Chilli Pepper known to man.
E. It might be the machismo effect where the feeling of victory after eating such a dish is felt.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND THEN TELL ME WHO IS YOUR CANDIDATE & WHY
There are certain candidates that pull at your heart strings rather then your logic and although emotional appeal is important it shouldn’t be the most significant factor in picking a Presidential Candidate. Therefore I believe that whatever candidate you choose should have to meet some basic requirements before you give them a 2nd look.
(1) PRINCIPLED- Does this individual have key principles that they have held onto past an election cycle even when those values may not be part of the popular culture?
(2) ARTICULATE – Will they be able to spread their message not only to their supporters but even to those who wouldn’t normally listen.
(3) EXPERIENCE- Do they truly have the experience in leadership to be the leader of the free world? Whether it be in business, political, the culture or a combination of the above.
(4) ENERGY- Is this an energetic person who inspires others to work alongside them to win this election?
(5) IMAGE- Does this candidate enhance the appearance of your party or are they the standard person everyone expects? If they are the standard look can they truly pull people from other cultures in?
(6) IDEAS- Do they have ideas based on a positive vision that are easy to understand and will work in the real world not the political world? Will these ideas resonate not only with the American people but the legislative body as well?
(7) DEFEAT- Has the candidate had to battle from behind in their work or political experience and how well did this fight go? Even if they lost were they able to change the narrative?
I’ve decided that 2015 is the year I segregate my clothes not according to color but style. The truth is that the first impression really does matter and what I wear can turn people toward what comes out of my mouth or away from it. I don’t want my clothes to act separately from the goals that I espouse but enhance them instead. Here are three example of my “fashionable sense” for 2015.
(1) FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS – This is not the sexual type known by the popular culture but friends who might be able to help enhance your goals and dreams. For these gatherings I want to dress casual but with a certain classy edge so that if discussions go a certain way then my clothes will show I’m serious. A pair of black jeans and a stylish button down shirt should work.
(2)RELIGIOUS GATHERINGS- I want to dress appropriately but not so formal that others belief that I’m the clergy. Therefore a sports jacket without a tie and a Stetson Hat should surely work.
(3) GUYS NIGHT OUT- It’s time to mellow out and say what comes to your mind. Casual black jeans, a sweatshirt and baseball cap should do for this evening.

ROOMINATE- An elaborate Lego type system for young ladies- POSITIVE- Great Sales designed by talent ladies NEGATIVE- Need to sell through- I’d invest in this project with another shark.
THE FLOATING MUG- A mug with a coaster attached POSITIVE- Solves problem NEGATIVE-Might be too expensive- I’d invest if they could lower the price and work with internet sales.

Please don’t exhale! I’m not telling you not to breathe but I don’t have to hear it when I ask you to do something unless it’s climbing Mt Everest. I do enough for you that my little requests shouldn’t be that difficult an effort to achieve. For every time you dramatize your exhales it makes me inhale anger and frustration. If I can hear your exhale I can also see it and it makes you look green with envy and scratches at my skin. Too keep myself from this path the next time that deep exhale occurs I’ll assume that you actually did climb Mt. Everest and give you a moment to inhale how good I’ve been to you.
There is a great destination that many claim is so wonderful that those that aren’t there are truly left behind. It is a place of beauty, peace and tranquility and there are many routes to get there but it is not apparent to many. Once you arrive at this location it’s so splendid that you will never want to return. It is a place that can come when you least expect it but at the same time must not take steps to get there quicker. The good news is the place is open to all with no income requirement, a matter fact it might be more difficult for those that hold onto the material side of life to enter. Just like traveling to a new area the journey is fraught with fear but upon your arrival you will truly know peace and happiness. For Heaven’s sake you must believe this place is paradise.
“Driver Disaster” is the one game every driver needs to play day after day if they want to be prepared for all the world might bring on them. This virtual reality game allows the driver to compete with others as the cruise through some of the most difficult blizzards, hurricanes, blinding sunlight, darkness, parallel parkings, blowouts, potholes, bad drivers, falling electric lines, and other distraction as they try to get to grandma’s house or complete their road test. From adjusting your seat belt to rear view mirrors, crying babies, and fighting teenagers this game might bring too much reality to some but the experience of “Driver Disaster Game” will enable most to become a better driver and have and still have an awesome time. .
No matter what others might tell you it’s not the hours that you work but the energy you put into the hours that makes you shine above the rest. Whether your a quarterback suddenly called in to make that miraculous throw, the singer who belts out the National Anthem better then anyone else, the inventor that produces that one product everyone is talking about, or that worker who outperforms everyone else it’s the energy at the right moments that people remember. It’s important to be the reliable person who comes to work on a regular basis but those truly with the “Energy” are the ones that continue to soar to the top. I’m sorry to say but these individuals can screw up in so many ways in their daily lives but they some how have the instinct to put it all together when it is truly needed. To conclude most of us don’t have the ability to put it together at only the exact moment so we must continue to work hard so that we can be ready to have our own “Energy Moments“.
