Killing in the name of…

As we witness the murder of French cartoonist by those who say they are killing in the name of their faith we must ponder what would make an individual believe this is G-D’s will. As we read the holy book that the three religions Christianity, Islam, & Judaism observe (the Bible) we see that G-D seeks retribution and divine punishment upon the sinner but that is only at certain times where his word is directly spoken and clear to the people. For example, Moses was called upon to be such a messenger and Pharaoh was warned many times before the death of the first born occurs and this death didn’t happen by the act of man but G-D himself. At other times people are executed for offenses against G-D’s laws but only when direct prophesy occurred.We also see many acts where G-D looks to forgive the sinner instead of unleashing retribution. How can we therefore judge when we “act in the name of G-D”. Today we have no holy temple and no matter where you stand in your faith their is no Messiah on earth that the world recognizes.

Therefore instead of seeking retribution on acts that we think others are doing against G-D’s will let us look inward instead and work to perfect the type of people we are and how we act with kindness to others. By setting an example of kindness and understanding maybe those that are lacking in faith will gain an understanding and that instead will bring the days of the Messiah. Where the world will live in peace, happiness and understanding of the true words of faith.

BASIC LEADERSHIP

Leadership requires you to set clear lines that everyone understands and if broken must be met with decisive consequences. When this occurs many will hate you but they will also respect you. Those many will become smaller as they see the result of such definitive actions and learn that your goals are for their benefit as well. Therefore it is better to have less rules that you can enforce then more rules then you can’t enforce. It is best to have rules based on a moral compass then have rules based on holding power. It is better to have rules that everyone can understand there purpose then ones that only bring confusion and rebellion. Leadership may truly be lonely but without it confusion and chaos will develop.

UNITY

Vive La France! After the savage attack in Paris, on the basic freedom’s given to us by G-D we in the civilized world must unite to defeat evil! Terrorism the act of violence directed at the innocence, should not be allowed to achieve any political goal. Whether your political views tend to be toward the right, left or somewhere in-between we must unite on this purpose! It doesn’t matter where this violence occurs from Jerusalem, NYC, Paris, or London we will not tolerate it anymore

(1) No land, nor peace talks will ever occur with any group or “political actor” that utilizes such actions to try to achieve their goals instead violence of the innocent will be met with violence of the perpetrators.

(2) Those who fund or support such actions financially or with their words must be tainted with the “Scarlet Letter” and understand that it is in their best interests to stop.

(3) Military action against those leaders who perpetrate such violence must be swift and decisive and although there will be collateral damage that will occur (these monsters hide and fight among their general populations) this will clearly not be our objective.

(4) We will work for peace with any group that renounces violence against the innocent, acts in ways that show that it is living up to that objective, and recognizes the right for others to live in peace in the state that they have achieved.

Only when we unite on these purposes will terrorism of the innocent die and we will live in a peaceful secure world.

Calling all clergy.

Sometimes you need a little spiritual advise at that moment but have no where to call that’s where “CALLING ALL CLERGY” comes in. Where 24 hours a day 7 days a week you can anonymously call a clergy member (or representative) from your faith or a different faith to help you get through a difficult period, give you advise, or just answer a philosophical dispute. All clergy from this service will of course have theological, psychological, and communication training. During times when Clergy of certain faiths isn’t available (high holidays) individuals with the training will stand in to answer any questions that might come there-way. Those who use this service would be charged a fee based on the time that they are own on the phone with such individuals. When you’re not getting an answer from a “higher authority” maybe it’s time to speak to there representative “CALLING ALL CLERGY”.

Offensive to all or offensive to none.

So I go to this Chinese Restaurant with my ……

I enjoy comedy that will take on everyone with equal repulsiveness. If the comedian goes after those in the audience then he must also be willing to have a target on his/her (hisher or herhis now a days) back as well. If they go after the right then they must offend the left (I’ll take a bit more offending the left). This is why I haven’t seen “The Book Of Mormon” which appears to be a blanket indictment to those of the Mormon faith indict the Atheist, Muslims, Jews & Christians or a combination of the above and I’ll be the first on line. When comedy attacks only one(unless it’s the left) it becomes more of a political statement and the humor dissipates. I’m sorry I’m being a bit biased against the left but there are no comedians that truly touch that subject unless it’s President Obama’s ears, I guess that’s too big of a target to ignore. So go ahead offend me I’m a big boy but make sure you offend that guy/gal across the hall who’s laughing at me, so we all can enjoy a good laugh together it’s definitely better then crying.

Sugar the new evil!

Throughout my life there have been many food evil’s that have received the “Scarlet Letter” and although I appreciate the warning sometimes I think we might be overdoing it. Maybe instead of focusing on one item (ex Sugar, Salt, Margarine) we should talk about eating a balanced diet which includes balancing some exercise along the way. I understand that American’s can over do one item like Sugar but sometimes we find out what was evil wasn’t as bad as we suspected for example butter and eggs are now good for you in the morning. I’m sure sugar is harmful when taking in a great deal to our body but I also believe the time and situation where we induce this ingredient might also play a key role. We also should consider that different people might react differently to any ingredient and therefore what seem harmful to one might be helpful to others. “Sugar” might be receiving today’s “Scarlet Letter” but maybe that letter shouldn’t be as red?

If just once a year (even every other year) I could go on my own private plane with my family and avoid the hassle of the airport that would truly be paradise, yet I know the cost for this luxury is behind my means. “PLANE TIMESHARE” could truly solve this problem where 52 weeks of the year are split up by 52 different travelers and their families. Selfish Wealthy Liberals

Most liberals are not selfish whether they be wealthy or poor but being wealthy and selfish can truly fit together. Here are just a few reasons the combination works like Peanut Butter & Jelly.

(1)GAVE AT THE OFFICE- This is your excuse for not giving time or monies to charity you’ve supported government giving to the poor whether it be cake or free cell phones.

(2) DO WRONG- You personally can have your business outsource help or use robots to replace the work that needs to be done and still be loved by the media and the political elite.

(3) GO WILD- No matter how many times you went to a drug rehab center, drove drunk, or used inflammatory language the media will give you a “free pass” because you supported “their cause”

(4) INVITES- Those who profess and support such political opinions get to attend some of the biggest most exciting parties in Hollywood and if you cheat with a **Star** nobody holds it against you.

I guess the only reason then to be a wealthy conservative is because you believe it’s right.

Nice Dictator

Some people were disturbed by the humanizing of Kim Jung Un in the movie “The Interview” but the truth is most dictators and tyrants are nice … to a few. They are extremely kind and generous to their supporters and to those they seek to impress. We must realize whether it’s the leader of Iran Hassan Rouhani or the former leader of Iraq Saddam Hussein they must know how to charm the masses to get into power and then be nice to those individuals who assure that they keep the power. Fear goes so far and that’s where charm, passion, charisma and even generosity comes in to fill the void. Let us not be enticed by the use of these traits but look at the death and destruction their leadership brings instead. Please note Adolf Hitler was very generous to those who supported him, was dog lover and even a vegetarian that used his power not to kill animals but millions of innocent men, woman and children.
