Kosher Bacon Pretzel Bits taste so authentic that you’ll think you’ve converted. Every time I took a bit I had to look back at the ingredients and the U sign just to verify that this was for real. I don’t know how Synder is able to make all their pretzel bit so tasty all I know is that their so good that I have to run to the gym after snack time.  The great taste of Bacon and Maple will make you feel like you’re starting a new day. This is one bacon bit that answers to a higher authority and tastes that way.

UGLY PARLOR

werewolfUGLY

Sometimes you really don’t want to look your best that’s where the “UGLY PARLOR” comes in. Maybe it’s Halloween, or you want to show the world what you look like when truly don’t get your beauty sleep for whatever reason it’s time to let the ugly out. The “UGLY PARLOR” can also accentuate those less desirable parts of your body to see if the world really can look past the grotesque cover.  So let the Ugly side out because we can’t be beautiful everyday.

Personal Ebola

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Uncategorized - No Comments

It’s important to be aware of the dangers Ebola faces because it can prevent it from becoming a pandemic but we must not create a panic that causes more harm. If you know someone personally who is infected by this sickness or if the media tells their individual story it truly hits home, that’s why it’s important to look at the numbers. 7.6 million people die of Cancer every year and the flu claims 36,000 lives in the United States alone so far Ebola has infected 8000 people out of a population of 10.2 million people from the two countries most infected (Sierra Leona and Liberia).  Panic and fear may actually cause more pain and suffering (see below) and we should utilize our resources to take realistic   precautions instead

(1) Doctors and Nurses may refuse to give proper treatment of this illness fearing it will spread to them.

(2) Volunteers who would help those countries infected don’t help because of the burdens placed on them if they seek to return home.

(3) Countries refuse to export goods and services to those countries infected by the disease causing those countries to suffer economically and therefore being unable to treat those infected effectively and preventing the proper education needed to stop the spread.

(4) Individuals suffering from this sickness or those around others effected keep it a secret because of the stigma it brings to them and their families.

Blizzard Drive- A BUD REFLECTION

blizzard driving

They had just raised the drinking age to 21 in NY so me and my friends decided to take a road trip to a state that still respected our right to drink at 18. The only problem was there was a raging blizzard occurring at the same time.  We swerved around the highway and spent double the time to get to this bar only to find it was closing just as we arrived.  To make matters worse I forgot to put on my lights as I was leaving the parking lot and was immediately stopped by the local police and given an alcohol test. It of coarse came out negative as did our entire blizzard drive.

Step 1 – Seat belt laws

anti-seat belt

The restriction on personal liberty in our modern era started with the seat belt laws which force individuals to wear this device or face prosecution by the state.  I believe it’s important to wear a seat belt and make those who want to sit in the front seat with me wear it as well but it shouldn’t be mandated by the state. Simply stated adult should be able to make their own decisions on personal safety as long as those acts don’t hurt others in between. The state must respect individual adult rights to pursue liberty and the right of happiness the way the deem correct. Here are just a few groups(links below) that still oppose this restriction on our liberty

Pay Now!

cash flow

Many businesses face a cash flow problem but if they use the correct incentive to motivate the debtor, this could be solved.  For example how many people would pay in advance for their cable service if they gave one month free for their football package? How many of us would pay our debts to Visa or American Express quicker if they put us in an exclusive lottery (for those that paid early) to win an all expense paid trip to Vegas or Hawaii. Would we pay our Home Depot or J.Alperin bills faster if there was a similar plan for an 18 Volt Makita Drill?  With the right motivations corporation could receive their monies in advance and therefore utilize those monies to expand their business at the same time making their customers happier.

NEVER ENOUGH!

never enough

As I pulled myself out of bed this morning (with the help of my licking dog) I realized there’s never enough of some “things” in our life. I’ve put together the top 4 according to me but would love to have you add to this list.

(1) Feeling of sleep-  No matter what time you wake up you still initially feel tired.

(2) Money- If it’s enough for you there’s still plenty of friends, family and nations that could use your donations.

(3) Peace- Even if the world was at total peace could we truly end on the squabbling among the various different groups we belong to or excluded from?

(4) Life- We all could use that extra day for an item in the bucket list that just missed the rim or for showing love to those we forgot along the way.
