The Alamo Returns
This theater is a *** 1/2 star treat for the whole family. This theater has a fine selection of food and beverages that are served while you’re enjoying your film but what is truly special is what occurs before the film starts. Where other theaters play the same standard commercials and “hilights” this theater goes in the opposite direction with quirky little skits and crazy ads from the past. Add a 1/2 star if you don’t order the pizza it was a bit slow and bland for our taste. The Alamo lives not just in Texas but in the heart of every movie goer in its vicinity!
Their newest location for this theater is 2548 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY

The Way Way Back- Is the movie of the Summer
The trailer misses the beauty of this wonderful film.
**** 1/2 Stars
By far the best movie I’ve seen this summer. Wonderful script, great casting that was humorous, heart warming and unpredictable. The only negative comment is it could have pushed a bit harder on heart strings. Brilliant music score as well. One final note Sam Rockwell was hysterical as Owen his acting alone added another 1/2 star to the film.

Insane Script – Rough Cut done
I have just finished the rough draft of “Insane” and like my previous projects now comes the part when you wake up from a “fun night”. You know the type of night you drank a bit too much and said maybe a few words that you shouldn’t have, got names mixed and wake up dealing with the real word that you forgot about. The difference is I can rewrite certain sections so nobody will ever know “what I was thinking ” while the guy/gal with the fun night will live with those memories as well as their buddies and even ex-buddies. “Insane” is in the process of becoming brilliant but it will take sometime to get over the hangover first.

Castle new entry in the marketplace
** 1/2
The Western BBQ and Savory met my expectations but didn’t exceed them. As all entries in the White Castle family they are small and have their standard white bread. I would suggest they experiment with whole wheat or seven grain bread especially for those dishes (like the sliders) that potray a healthier alternative. The Savory was flavorful but not excessive while the Western BBQ onion ring was a nice addition to the entry. The BBQ could have used a thicker tangier sancy. Overall it’s a nice little snack you don’t have too feel that guilty about

Anti Drugs/ Pro legalization with caveat(s)
What am I talking about? (read below)
I feel that illegal drugs have done incredible harm to our society. We have seen innocent people shot as bystanders of the violence that occurs in the drug war. We have seen the great talents of our youth destroyed by the epidemic of drug use?
The truth is we can’t stop a product that the people want unless we are willing to lock up all the users of this product for a serious period of time. I believe many things adults do to their own bodies is wrong but as long as they’re educated on the consequence, don’t hurt others and have a clear way out then it’s should be up to the individual to be stupid or not be stupid. These steps (below) though need to be taken before any legalization occurs.
(1) Those that seek to use these substances must get a license which requires them to be educated on the consequences of their future actions and know where their are resources available to kick the habit.
(2) Store front locations must be set where people can utilize these drugs but these individuals must not be permitted to drive home until their effect has fully been relinquished from their system. Individuals can take these substances from their own home but must have a certified provider in the vicinity to insure that they don’t drive after taking such substances or cause harm to others. The facilities that provide these substances and/or the provider must have information clearly available on the possible consequences of utilizing such substances and information on how to quit.
(3) All these substances will be heavily taxed and those taxes will go directly to anti-drug campaigns for youths and the most effective drug rehabilitation centers.
(4) Individuals who have such licenses must agree to have semi-annually check ups on their mental and physical health.
(5) Youths must not be exposed to the use of these substances.

Powerball Winning number is…. 18
While we all are trying to find that winning number for the Powerball Jackpot one number stands out above the rest. The #18 stands out for it is the numerical value for the word (chai) life. We must realize even if we had all the monies and power in the world without (chai) 18 it wouldn’t be worth a penny.
