I have met my touch of celebrities but not enough to call anyone a friend which begs the question how does one deal with a celebrity friend?  For if they treat them as if they are “a celebrity” instead of a friend then after awhile it might become quite awkward and even annoying as it relates to friendship. Yet if you treat your celebrity friend as if she/he’s just one of your buddies then they might seek a friendship elsewhere where it appears the world is their oyster. I guess having a celebrity friend can be more difficult then not having one which is the one excuse I like to give myself for not having any.

Jerry Lewis a comedic genius and a great philanthropist has left us with many laughs as well as a more charitable nation.  For those of the later generations that might have missed his laughs and charitable works thank G-D for youtube.com which will enable others to laugh and care for generations to come even if he has moved on to a better brighter stage.

Steve Bannon departure from the White House could spell deeper trouble for the President from his populist front or might be just the right move to strengthen it.  If he doesn’t replace with Bannon with some populist person or message his strongest coalition could be moving elsewhere unless…Mr. Bannon really believes he could build that coalition better from the outside then from the inside.  This coalition could mobilize forces to make sure the Presidency agenda gets the people power behind it or at least him.

When we use the word “child abuse” we assume that the parent is abusing a child but what happens when it’s in the opposite path? Now a days there are many ways that children can be abusive to there parents but the parents are limited by societal “norms” and even laws that regulate what their response can be.  A parent should be “big enough” to take the abusive language that comes out of the mouth of their children but that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t hurt.  There was a day and a time not so foregone when most children wouldn’t utter such words and or tone in front of parents and if such an occurrence would happen it would be met by a swift apology now a days that is truly rare.  Abuse can come from both sides and we must acknowledge that it can hurts as much as even a stick or stone.

Barry Jay must feel his script was stolen and literally ripped apart as he watched what they did with “The Chosen”.  For an interesting concept is produced with little acting talent and lines that come across as if spoken by mummies. .  Yet I continued to watch although Mr. Jay’s writing talent lead to a predictable end, maybe because I love a good horror film or any horror film with even a few different twists.  The concept that 6 must die within 6 days without you actually pulling the “trigger” is interesting enough but adding a biblical concept to it drew me in  Let us hope screenwriters “Barry Jay” next work is treated with more respect and doesn’t suffer such a deadening effect on the viewers.

**   The concept drew the stars and you can add a 1/2 if you’re easily scared.
