When we use the word “child abuse” we assume that the parent is abusing a child but what happens when it’s in the opposite path? Now a days there are many ways that children can be abusive to there parents but the parents are limited by societal “norms” and even laws that regulate what their response can be. A parent should be “big enough” to take the abusive language that comes out of the mouth of their children but that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t hurt. There was a day and a time not so foregone when most children wouldn’t utter such words and or tone in front of parents and if such an occurrence would happen it would be met by a swift apology now a days that is truly rare. Abuse can come from both sides and we must acknowledge that it can hurts as much as even a stick or stone.
