I had my meeting with the inventor of “Super Claw” (could be the strongest drywall anchor in the world) and believe it allowed me to hold on to this dream. There was a bit of a language barrier so I sent a follow up email to review the marketing and commission approach we agreed upon. In the next few days I will be setting up meetings with several large distributors that could carefully place in this product in many stores in the NY Metropolitan area. The thought is to make sure that these stores properly present the product so a demand is made before the supply is given. Updates will occur periodically.

Today I meet with the inventor of the “Super Claw” a unique drywall anchoring kit that will either take hold or will slip.  For having a great invention is the one of the key ingredient but being able to sell that ingredient to other stores & consumers is the real piece of the pie. I have ingredient 2 & 3 the contact to distribute this product far and wide with the ability to make sure the consumer knows it exist (or marketing). Yet the cost for ingredient 3 (marketing) if not controlled can eat up ingredient one (the invention) before it even gets to the oven. Therefore the discussion we have today will truly determine whether the Claw will take hold through the pressures of the marketplace or go tumbling down before it’s true face is shown to the public.

In today’s market getting your product in the customers eyes is harder then ever, especially if you’re a small business but there some marketing tricks you can employ. You may not be able to fight for the proper shelf spot unless you have monies to spend so it’s important that you using your marketing monies in these other directions instead.  These tricks (scene below) will enable you to not only have your products seen by the customer but understood as well.

(1) CHANGING COUNTER PEOPLE TO SALES PEOPLE–  It is important that you put together an incentive program for the front line between the customer and the cashier and that is your counter/stock personnel. By giving them incentive such as sell ten widgets for a T-shirt and/or lottery ticket for a price these employees will have a reason to make sure the customer knows your product exists and if you keep the incentive  just right the pitch will be as well.

(2) FREE DIGITAL FRAMES W SD VIDEO FORMAT– While shopping for goods the customer has some wait time and that it the time that a demonstration from the Digital Frames that are placed in the store will showcase the brilliance of your product.

(3) SAMPLES IF POSSIBLE– When Post-It notes wasn’t selling 3M starting giving them out for free and the rest my friend is history.

(4) P.O.S DISPLAYS– Don’t let them forget your product as their waiting in that long cashier line or waiting to be served. Bright colors or creative design of such display can be the difference between buying and gliding past your product.

You need a car for only a month or so and just around the corner there is a car sitting in a garage this is the time for “UBERRENTAL”!  “UBERENTAL”  would  match those in need of vehicle with those able to rent such a vehicle and provide all the background information (for an additional fee)  and insurance needs (extra) so that this can occur as smoothly as passing the keys.  This service would also people to rent those cars just on the few days of the week they might need them as well.  Just like a rental service you can decide on the car you want to rent by price or style and/or features but unlike that service you will save $$’s.  It’s time you get the car you want/need for that short period it’s time for an UBERRENTAL.
