Over the top “The Beggar Show”?

a beggar 2

Is this television concept (below) over the top/pushing the envelope too far?

Many of us see a beggar/panhandler on the street asking us to spare some change to help them out “The Beggar Show” will take it a step farther by bringing them to your television screen. Three individuals will broadcast live why a $1000.00 dollars will change their lives as a  group of expert panelist (private detective, charity manager, small businessman etc)  try to determine if their claim is true and if it this money would make a difference.  These panelist would then give their opinions but it’s up to the television audience to determine who if any receive such funds.  The following shows will have more beggars/panhandlers asking for funds and a review of those that have received such funds.  Would this show be too controversial to go on the air?

Fear the Walking Dead-Falling

fear of walking dead 2

I’m afraid that I’m falling off watching “Fear the Walking Dead” because it’s too predictable.  Another evil governmental conspiracy that we’ve seen in hundreds of movies and television shows appears to be the reason for this evil to exist.  It becomes tiresome and irrational for the viewer who understands that governments can turn bad but not on every television show.  Of course it probably won’t just be an evil governmental agency but the military that has gone rogue wow what a new twist…not.  I will turn on an episode or two more but not with the same urgency of an zombie apocalypse for this apocalypse has become too predictable for me.

Fetty Way Motorcycle Accident

Fetty Wap Motorcyle Accident Fetty Wap Motorcycle Accident 2

Let us pray that Fetty Wap the rapper, makes a full recovery from a Motorcycle accident he was involved in NJ, which too many of his fellow motorcyclist abuse the right of the road.  I’m not sure he was one of those individuals that I see on a daily basis on our highways but if he was then he’s lucky he is able to recover.  These individuals swerve in and out of traffic on their bikes at accelerated speeds as if there are no other cars on the road. I’m one who believes in individual freedom but not to the point of dangerous irresponsible driving to oneself and others.Let Mr. Wap accident wake up our law enforcement officials spend more time watching and ticketing these irresponsible drivers rather then the person who is driving 65 in a 55 mph speed zone in turn this will stop serious injuries and or deaths on our highways.

Muppets Show

Muppets 2015

After deep contemplations I’ve decided I enjoyed “The Muppets” first episode.  I guess it’s a sign of the times that Piggy and Kermit split up and Foggie the Bear was dating a human, yet the in depth interviews gave a bit more nuisances to these pieces of cloth and fabric. The Muppets aren’t as innocent or as hopeful as the 80’s variety but we can blame that on the “Simpson’s Effect” which introduced adult topics to child like characters on a regular basis.  The “Muppets” fun for the entire family …. at least if they’re over 13 years old.

*** 1/2 – If Foggie is your favorite character you can an extra 1/2 star or a jar of honey.

Big Eyes

big eyes

A brilliant movie of unique character development with the haunting effect that Tim Burton can illustrate better then any current talent in the industry.  The colors are bright and poignant as is every image in this truly remarkable film.

Late Night Void

Late Night Hosts condalisa rice

Last night I stayed up a bit too late waiting to put the wash in the dryer and for that reason watched the late night show’s deepening void.  For even today when they’re are 3 hosts competing for the same market share they all appear the same.  Each host is a white, young male, with a bit of left turn that makes sure they continue to divide the same market share up. Let’s say we could change the channel to see someone with a different angle with a person such as Condalisa Rice.  Here is an African American woman who tilts more to the right and is also a talented musician. She also has the experience of being in front of the big screen on a regular basis. I’m not sure she would be able to perform in the crazy antics that the other hosts do but at least there would truly be a bit of variety in the late night slot. What do you think?
