How could a fire sweep a high rise building in the heart of London so quickly and with such deadly force?  The Grenfell Towers in North Kensington London a 24 story building is on blaze with such a deadly force. The first prerogative of any government must be to protect it’s people and the government must have the resources to make sure this occurs! Whether it means stationing a fire department near such facilities or drilling and preparing for such possible devastation the government needs to be ready and able to protect it’s people. Furthermore strict adherence to code which protect life’s instead of codes which make government $’s should be the order of the day. In today’s times with terror also is a major threat response time needs to be quickened. The government failed the people and it’s not an election that was lost but innocent human life’s.

I’m sorry that I won’t be attending this year’s Shakespeare in the Park for it goes against my values and….  It is also true that I’ve never attended one of the shows in the park in the 1st place but who know I might have considered this year. If it wasn’t for that awful depiction of the President maybe I would have waited 2 days in the Park to get tickets to see this show.  It’s a possibility that this would have occurred but the depiction of the President slammed the door. The door might have already been closed but now it was locked closed. Okay the door was locked but a new deadlock was added. Well the deadlock was broken but now it’s fixed and I’m not going. ….. Thank you for this years excuse.

Where are the human rights activists of today? They can’t believe that the oppression in the world has gone away?  From Venezuela, Syria and North Korea people’s basic human rights are being stampeded on and the world community is a way to quiet.  What happened to the protests of the past that demanded justice and peace for those who were really oppressed? Maybe those protesting Trump should get new signs and fight for those who really need our support instead; the people of Venezuela, Syria, North Korea etc and that will be one protest I’ll be glad to march in.

Other then professional help how many people really care “how are you”?  I’m sure there are plenty of people that ask you this question but how many will spend the time and effort to listen to your full response? Just as important is do you actually tell them the full story or do you edit depending on what you believe their reaction will be? Maybe you don’t fully know how you are  because you’re suppressing some deeper emotions or projecting some emotions on others that are hidden beneath the surface. How are you therefore is not as simple question as one might think and the answer might truly depend on who is asking and what you want that answer to reflect.

It might be harder to deal with those that are nice then those that “normal”. For you never feel as if you have been nice enough back to those who were nice in the 1st place. How many shakes, hugs and smiles is enough to satisfy those that have the nice gene? Furthermore there is a certain fear that this niceness is not truly real and the closer you get the more you’ll read between their smiles.  Could their niceness be all about the tip they expect in advise or dollars? Will their niceness be revealed as a front to a devious plan after you’ve been sucked into their world?  I wish the world was a bit nicer but until that day those that are nice will be treated warmly back but watched as well.

Coqui is trying to shed it’s Green and replace it with Red, White & Blue. For the Puerto Rican people have voted to become the 51 state and now it’s up to Congress to determine if they agree with the color change  With Puerto Rico continuing to suffer through an economic plight for the last 10 years I guess they decided to try a different color.  If adopted Puerto Rico will become our poorest state in the union and therefore be asking for some more Green to go with their new Red, White & Blue.

They say that you have never experienced life until it appears that it is slipping away.  That every breath of air changes when that breath could be your last. I have never been that close but my trip to the emergency room for Pancreatitis had me breathing a bit differently.  It was the first time I was taken by ambulance to a hospital and the first time a professional said my life could be on the line.  My thoughts of my own mortality were at my hand/head and all I could think about was what happens to those I would leave behind.  Would I leave too many missing pieces behind for them not to complete their life’s puzzle?  I have tried since then to have them learn to put their puzzle’s together but their are still many on that table and some new one’s I discovered since that date. G-D willing I won’t have to reach out for the cliff anytime before all the pieces are on the table and hopefully even a new puzzle.

Whether you raise your hand to Donald Trump or have your hand down you have to admit he has changed the morale equation. For the Republican’s always had to be way above the Democrats when it came to personal ethics and now that equation appears to be equalizing. Before Donald Trump a Republican nominee could not get away with having 3 marriages, been in bankruptcy and have an active twitter account with such direct and political incorrect rhetoric. Now that scale has changed and maybe candidates for office will be judged more on the issues then the issue they have become. Donald Trump never pronounced that he was perfect when he ran for office because it wasn’t about him but about the job he could do for this country. Why don’t we allow him and the rest of our political leaders do there jobs instead of continue to look at their imperfections whether they be from the left or even now from the right.

It’s amazing how one negative thought can permeate the entire body. I  consciously allowed such a negative thought to enter my psyche just to see how fast I could move away from other thoughts but found it more difficult to crack through then I expected.  Now I wonder about the other times I didn’t consciously allow those thoughts to come in as to  make sure there is a quick exit before they break me up. This usually happens when I compare my circumstances right there and then with one that appears to have it better. That exit for me is faith in a higher meaning and purpose to what is existing right in front of me. Sometimes those clouds might thicken and even a thunderstorm appear but I must continue to search through as that beacon of light guides me away from the pain to G-D’s path instead.

The passing of Adam West proves one maybe great enough. For many people try to play differently roles in their life’s but sometimes if you do it just right one is not only fine but exceptional. For the general public of my age and those of re-run’s Adam West will forever be associated with a lighthearted version of Batman. One that is fun and I dare so even funny then the darker version that we seek in today’s version of the Cape Crusader. He was the type of Batman you could enjoy with the whole family with a “Bang”, “Smash” that kept us watching episode after episode. Rest In Peace Adam West who proved doing one thing right leaves a legacy for generations to come.
