9/26/26- The White House and top oil as well as refinery executives found a way to immediately lower the prices at the gas pump starting before the end of the month. The solution includes temporary holds on certain regulations, increases in refinery and oil production and lowering exports of said products. These changes will be in effect at least until the end of the year. This deal appears to benefit not only the GOP in the upcoming election but the oil and gas company who would face greater regulations, taxes and investigations should the Democrats win.
FOOTNOTE – One could only hope this becomes a news headlind.
