When you reach out to give of yourself before you get something in return often you end up with more. For even if you don’t receive gratification from those you help you feel it inside as you have achieved something bigger then your own needs and desires. When one is struggling with a sickness sometimes the best remedy is to try and cure another.  Of course you have to take care of your basic needs before you help others and it’s fun to enjoy the rewards as well but it truly feels better to give then receive even from the giving side.

My brother is the one person I have probably been in his company more then any other person as our life’s go on. For not only have we grown up together but work together almost everyday.  Which can cause special feeling and moments to overlap each other until they fade away unto another. So here are just a few that stand out in this time period.

(1) MEXICO ATTEMPTED RESCUE-  You went to save my life as you thought I was drowing in the ocean only to find that it was an extended swim up a moutain. 

(2) GENORSITY –  Always the big brother who made sure he paid the receipt when it came to the table.

(3) FAMILY-   You’re concern to take care of those who have taken care of us goes well behind normal bounds so no wonder you’re the favorite.

(4) PERFECTIONIST-  You expect more from yourself then is needed and have pushed me to look in the mirror more then a dozen times.

(5) WORK-  Your ethic never leaves you even when others are sleeping.

(6) THERE-  When I need someone to be there for the big, sad and happy occassions you’re always one to find respond yes from Shower Singing to Y.R days.

(7) LEADER-  You quietly lead without looking for the glory or medals involved. 

(8) SURELY-  This word has been extinguished from my vocabulary as you reminded me over and over that Shirley wasn’t there.

This one above would not fit in the category of good unless you’re into that kind of thing (he’s sorta smiling) but this one below might just be your ticket.

   For that bug on your back can do more harm then the initial pain you feel.  Sometimes the slap can celebrate a moment of victory in which the person tapping was a bit too excited or strong.  A slap also can wake you up in time to fight the next round literally or figuratively.   Hi fives are a form of slapping each other in a congratulatory way. While clapping one’s hands is slapping oneselve to congratulate others.  So here is to a good slap nothing feels like it even if it’s hurts too good.

You can’t pick where you’re going to sneeze but if you could some places are better then others.  For example sneezing in a movie theater or show will not get you to many bless you’s but at your local church or synagogue those words will go to a higher authority.  Sneezing while driving is never a good activity but sneezing while reading can make a real mess.   To sneeze or not to sneeze is not the question but where to do this activity is?

Life’s moments pass us by unless we truly hold onto the special ones with pride. Seeing my daughter graduate from college is such a moment that might make me see another gray or two but those are based on years filled with years happiness and love.  For she has achieved greatness in her own rank and no matter what the world throws her way they can’t take this day away.  Many a time I’m sure she felt it was all too much for her to acheive and yet not only did she make it but did it with brilliance. So I wear my gray hairs with pride knowing that wisdom,strength and love is something she can carry through for her next life’s journey.

Is this the look and/or feel you have when someone asks “that” question? A question that appear so bland like “how was your day? Did you like the food?” If that’s not annoying enough once you answer those questions then the  full interrogation   begins with dozens of questions coming you way.  Well maybe it how you look at the question that counts. For if you see the question as probing into your life then it’s truly 1/4 full but if you see it as a desire to become closer to you as well as someone really interested in YOU then it’s 3/4 full.  Of course I’m not naivve and realize some questions are meant to trap you in a box but for those that are really out of love why not show a little love back.  For we questions might be loving and curious isn’t it time you found that answer 1st?
