To some one action changed my name forever.  When I was in college I had an arrogant suitemate who would make sure they were extra loud when I was trying to rest my eyes and continued to be a tick in my skin. I moved to a different suite but that didn’t end his attitude. One night he was in charge of dispensing beer from a keg at a party and it was all for one and one for all except when it came to M-E.  He suddenly wanted proof so I gave the proof he deserved. I took my friends beer and poured it over his head. This created my new name change which has held for over 30 years even though this moose has generally stayed in the woods.

There are some movies that lead a legacy in ones mind long after they’ve seen them for better, worse or in-between. Here are a few (below) that have had such an impact on my life and a note of why that might have occurred. Here are the 1st ten to come to mind today on  4/16/23. I’m sure a neuron is holding back many a great title which G-D willing I can add another day.

1. Newsies– The connection with the characters along with the great music and dancing keeps this film in my heart and soul.
2. The Greatest Showman-  Normally I would say this is too early to add this film to my list as I only saw it a few days ago but the issues of loyalty, fame and family probably won’t fade away.
3. Godfather 1 & 2-   I know this is an obvious choice as the incredible film-making drew so many in yet the struggles of the characters kept me glued to the screen to the closing credits
4. Rambo First Blood-   Yes, of course the action held one’s attention throughout the film but the end is the legacy that truly holds you to it.
5. Talladega Nights – Sorry, this is just plain hysterical
6. Airplane- Ditto above
7. Annabelle –  Who know a doll could make me scream with terror.
8. Six Sense-   Took my mind to a whole different sense
9. La, La, Land-  Just pure entertainment
10.  Black Swan-  An incredible picture where every scene connected like the finest dance.
