I was hit by a bat and almost as well. When I was younger I was the catcher but without a mask and the batter decided to hit more than the ball which resulted in a nice root canal. Today probably a good thirty years later or so one came within inches of hitting me but this time it was the one with wings. Who knew my face would be so attractive to all different types of bats.
