WARNING- This probably should be read….maybe

Notre Dame took almost 200 years to build as a replica to one’s faith in Christianity and as painful as it might seem it took this fire to bring it back to it’s roots. For Notre Dame was built in the capital of Paris, France now home to one of the most secular places in the world.  Notre Dame had become more of a museum for the tourist then a spiritual holy site for the true believer. Where those accessing it to worship were seen as basically props for the architectural tourist taking photo shots.  This incredibly complex beautiful structure was being destroyed before our eyes yet one simple structure beamed out it’s cross.  We all mourn the destruction of such a grand structure but maybe just maybe the faithful will help rebuild it not just with the tools of their hands but their hearts and souls. So it becomes a beautiful structure again with faith keeping it stronger then ever.

I was filled with melancholy as little things started to weigh down on me so I did the complete opposite of how I felt and smiled.  I just couldn’t let the days events slow me to a crawl so I had to find a way to turn this frown upside down or really inside out. The truth is it worked and helped change my attitude in that instant. It’s not as if my problems went away but at least they were swept a bit deeper under the rug so I could keep pushing them out of the way…  for now. Forced smiling works to keep those blues from playing too long in your heart and that’s a better sound in the long term.

You Rock Superstar (Rolling Stones, Gun’s & Roses, White Water Tower, Avenged Sevenfold etc, etc) don’t forget about US! We are where it all began and sat here through endless practices, fights and those moments you don’t want us to tell your parents about yet you go around prancing around the world while we stick right to the ground…literally. Yes, we are the garages and basement which have heard you when you were bad and also awesome but were never taken anywhere in between. You took the glory and fame while we just sat in the background. Don’t worry we won’t carry on because we’re stuck here just felt that it would be nice if some accolades came our way as well.

I’m happy for Tiger’s return but let’s not make him a saint for G-D’s sake. Yes, it’s great that he was able to come back from the injuries but there is still much pain in this heart. For although he has conquered the world of golf legitimately he cheated with me over and over again.  It is true he has suffered a great deal over that time period but so have I.  This victory might have been sweet for him but it’s been a poison pill for me who should have been by his side but he decided to seek another instead. Yes, the world can celebrate his victory but please don’t forget those who now walk alone.

FOOTNOTE- Cheating hurts especially when it’s in the public eye.

Today I sorry in advance for I’m not sure if my next journey will allow me to spend as much time with Y-O-U as I might like.  The good news why  this might be the case is  I’m attempting to seeing these ideas performed  on a bigger stage but the more important reason is I just might be needed by a loved one who is facing an uncertain future. I will do whatever I can do help change the projector y so that those odds can change in her favor and ask for your prayers as well.  For G-D willing your prayers and my efforts can help my mom be whole again.
