If I don’t show up your vote won’t count. I didn’t run for “office” but decide who actually gets counted. I guess it’s not M-E alone but my small group of “colleagues” who truly decide if democracy really works. We are the unsung “hero’s” of every election cycle but do you even know our names. You will though if suddenly we all don’t show and then democracy can’t be counted on. Who are we?
