One bird decided to hate my day. I don’t know who set his/her clock (sex wasn’t determined) but it needed a new location to play. This concert hall was closed yet it wanted a chance for America’s Got Annoyances. What was the racket about in the 1st place nobody was listening to you except me and your not my type (the feathers aren’t my thing). Bird’s may come and go but this one stayed in my ears all night long.
Is Johnny Depp really sorry for saying “when was the last time an actor shot the President” or was he just acting for his next role? Based on his past words I think he might be playing for an Oscar nomination. Johnny Depp is a phenomenal actor so maybe he was acting for this audience when he made his despicable remark in front of an anti-Trump crowd in the first place. Maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt but I’m not sure the President should see Johnny Depp in any live performances.
According to psychological analysis and statistics as a whole this title will probably be my least popular blog piece but it must be said. For how many times do we blame those in “power” for our problems when it’s our own actions or reactions that have landed us in the spot we are in right now? This is best illustrated by the biblical story Korah where he challenged Moses for his “poor leadership” skills as he lead the Israelite on their difficult destiny. Instead of challenging himself and the people to work harder on their own spiritual path he tried to take the path from their true leader that G-D selected. Maybe Korah believed as other’s outside the power structure, that they could do things better but until he actually stepped in the arena in some powerful way and make such changes with himself as well as others how could he ask to wear the crown? Yes, the more you claim it’s your fault the better the chance you have to change your path and many might follow your lead.
For those viewers of “Hell’s Kitchen” the drama we are witnessing in the Senate, as it relates to replacing Obamacare, plays out till the final stew. Senate leader Mitch McConnell (not normally my favorite Senator) may have played this with all the ingredients up front. First he puts together a fairly strong outline in private so it could actually be completed without too many Senator’s stewing the pot. Then he waits for the opposition to boil up. Once he meets with the 4 vocal Senators opposed to the legislation he can decide which ingredients he must add to the mix or delete. Deleting to many might cause the whole stew to spoil so he probably would add more ingredients if possible. Once those ingredients are added he must make sure it’s not watered down so the other Senators can still vote on it without getting a heartburn. In the end let’s hope it’s a healthy bill/soup and maybe even one that’s a bit tasty.
If they add all more theories together they might be more brilliant then Albert Einstein and only you will be able to reveal this truth. For those closest to me sometimes have their ears furthest away while those in the cyber world are listening to every letter now, tomorrow or hundred years in the future (hopefully closer to the now). I can only imagine your reaction to all the different thoughts expressed on this blog and it’s a beautiful picture. You give my heart the strength to keep pumping along and allow this unique voice to be heard in a crowd of millions/billions. Someday my ideas, theories, philosophies might change the world for the better and I owe it all to you. Voices might come and go but your listening could last many a lifetime.
The cell phone has made me a bit more apathetic to my surroundings and I don’t believe I’m alone. Where in the past when I saw an accident or someone stuck on the road I would stop or at least call 911 now a days I assume they have a phone and things are being taken care of. Of course if an accident happens right in front of me I’ll stop and try to help but if it’s any distance I’ll use this rule. I wonder if I make this assumption when it comes to other situation where I assume a friend/family member has someone they could speak to so why bother making the call? Maybe I’m just bothering by calling anyway and I’ll just text later and later? Which begs the question has the cell phone made us closer or pulled us apart?
ISIS keeps adding to it’s evil resume as it destroys the Mosque of Al Nuri an 800 year old holy building in the city of Mosul. The destruction of ISIS can’t come soon enough as the leave a trail of death and destruction where-ever they have landed. In every generation the rise of evil occurs when good people turn their back to what is happening in front of their eyes. Let us pray that G-D gives us the strength to keep our eye’s wide open so such evil can finally be extinguished in our lifetimes.
Does it pay to cook? I guess it depends on one’s hourly salary and what they are making? For if it takes over and hour to cook and clean up then that is an hour gained in taste (hopefully) but maybe an hour lost in productivity and even fun? While if someone else is chopping away and cleaning up afterwards are you now more free to be more productive in another activity? If you enjoy the culinary arts then maybe it’s an hour added to your happiness and knowing what’s in what might even an add an hour or so toward your life. If your dish is extra messy, extra unhealthy and/or lousy maybe it’s better to visit fast food world instead. Yet if somehow the dish comes out just right then that extra time appears to melt away. In conclusion does it pay to cook might have to be determined by your taste buds before and after the last bite gets cleaned up.

President Trump might have found a way that the Democrats can’t refuse funding for the Border wall on the southern border. At the President’s rally in Iowa he revealed that he is considering building this border wall with solar panels that will produce “clean energy” for the United States. The Democrats might be against the wall and the President but Green Energy is something they supposedly love even more. It will be an interesting vote if this proposal comes to fruition protect our borders and our own green energy or be just against the President again.
