Entertainment Escape

Sometimes I feel as if you’re stuck in the same fish bowl and that is when entertainment becomes the perfect escape. Whether it’s reading a book that takes me to a far away place, listening to music that takes me deeper down the stairs of my soul, or writing about a combination of both, entertainment is that escape that brings me peace from the world outside my own. Nothing is better then experiencing that escape with others and seeing how they paint that picture in their mind. Yet sometimes just this escape alone can bring me the fortitude to swim to the top of the bowl while others who continue on the same path drift down further and further below.

Jimmy Kimmel- Donald Trump- Belly-

Belly the Rapper cancelled his performance on the Jimmy Kimmel show because Donald Trump was to appear which might give him a short term spike in publicity but leaving him searching for popularity in the long term. For all I know Belly could have made this stance because of his differing values with the Presumptive Republican nominee but as a Rapper shouldn’t free speech trump that value. It is not as if Belly was a household name that could stiff Jimmy Kimmel and not feel the effect with this important late night host as well as other hosts. Will they risk booking Belly knowing that he must approve the other guests before appearing on their popular show I don’t think so? I respect Belly for taking a stand even if I disagree with him on it but he should have been more careful on where to stand for stepping on the wrong feet can having you falling down on your Belly without the ability to get back up.

Lose weight while EATING

Celery, might be the only food known that you actually lose weight when you eat but if you taste it alone you can understand why. Some creative chip company needs to find a way to add a bit more flavor without increasing calories do this delightful vegetable and may I suggest a little garlic to the mix. Of course Curry might work as well along with a salt and vinegar type. Once you get just the almost right flavor you’ll have the perfect snack to keep you going without gaining the pounds to prove it. I will begin the experiment with several flavors this weekend and would appreciate any suggestions along the way.

Trump Reality

Trump reality is real for unlike other politicians he doesn’t try to be something that he isn’t and for that he is a winner. Donald Trump is not afraid to discuss where he comes from and sure enough he’s more then willing to talk about where he is now. His billions are open to the world to see and his pride on what he’s accomplished not only for him but his family and employees is something he loves to talk about. Mr. Trump also feels more comfortable telling the crowds what comes from his heart instead of some rehearsed political speech and although it might contain many general platitudes it appears to be something he and the audience belief in. Donald Trump appears to be winning because for the first time in many years a Presidential Candidate has shown that being yourself is more popular then being someone else that your political advisors belief you should be.

It takes a business

It takes a business to build a community. A business that will give each individual a chance to make it on their own. These corporation will employee the workers to pay the taxes to keep the infrastructure going along with their own taxes. They will invest in the community parks and other structures that can make a community beautiful for years to come and help set aside funds so workers can enjoy their later years. Businesses will step out of their profit role every once in a while to participate in charitable activities that truly make the difference. The strum of productivity will enable those in the community young and old to participate in growing something good instead of ripping it apart with idle time. So while Bernie Sander and Hillary Clinton tear down the fabric of capitalism let us realize that without that fabric there would be nothing for them to truly stand on. For as crazy as it might seem these anti-capitalist are funding and working with products and services put together through these businesses they ridicule at every stump speech. From the microphones they speak into to the shoes they are wearing, corporation truly build a community.

Dog Critic

Those crackers won’t do but the stuff rotting outside taste just great. Do you have a dog critic in your life where only the finest food or most disgusting items will suit their appetite? Of course they’ll eat anything made out of meat but after that their taste buds go in two different directions high quality and gross. These dog critics throw Darwin’s Evolutionary Theory out the window as these four legged friends should have been extinct from their poor choices of survival.

The follow up- SUCKS

If only the idea was good enough Donald Trump would be working for me but it is the follow up and up that truly count. For nothing is more draining then having to repeat the same things over and over again to climb those steps only to fall down again. Another big problem with the follow up is you have to depend on others to accomplish these important tasks while they might be climbing a totally different group of steps. The follow up is never fun but it’s the only way to continue to climb even if it requires crawling one slip at a time.

Bill Cosby Indictment Quandary

WHICH ONE IS REAL?

I’m honestly unsure how to feel about the indictment of Bill Cosby, on a claim of sexual assault that is purported to occur in 2004. At first my thoughts are nobody should be above the law and justice must be served no matter how long it takes. Yet I wonder if this case is being brought because the prosecutor wants to get Mr. Cosby on something after missing 50 accusations of sexual misconduct by other woman. It is extremely difficult in normal times to prosecute a case on sexual misconduct and then to add 12 years to such a prosecution makes it near impossible unless some secret evidence has surfaced . I also must add my own prejudice in this case since I grew up with Bill Cosby as the family type of comedian and therefore it might be a bit to difficult for me to fully accept that he is someone you don’t want near your family. In the end no matter who you are or how the world perceives it’s G-D who will be the ultimate judge and that is one judgement even Bill Cosby won’t be able to escape.

For this Alarm will wake you up to the sounds of the Ghetto during the rough times whether it be Police Sirens, Gang Banging, Bitches Fighting or the always pleasant gun shots blasting with this alarm it won’t be I need a few more minutes but where do I go now! The Night Manager-Brilliant but….

The Night Manager is show that deserves to be talked about if you could understand what is said? For the show is conception ally brilliant with incredible visual scenario and a talented cast but is too British. This is not meant in a “snobbish way” but in a vernacular way because the accent can come across so thick at times that I need a translator to understand what they just said. I can only imagine how my New York accent might be annoying to others but I’m not on a major television series … yet. I will continue to watch “The Night Manager” I just might need some Tea and Crumpets with my viewing for it is becoming a bloody mess for me to understand otherwise.
