Prince’s death must not be in vain! There are too many talented individuals taken from us due to drug overdoses that could have still been with us today if family, friends, or even society stopped them from killing themselves. When a star such as Michael Jackson. Whitney Houston or what appears to be Prince falls to this poison the world stops for a moment to listen but how about those thousands who are killed every year but aren’t in the world spotlight but the spotlight of their loved ones instead. We can and must do more to stop this tragedy from continuing. Even if the toxicology eventually clear Prince from death by drug abuse the damage these poisons have done have surely led him down the path to death and destruction. Here are just a few ways (below) that we can stop this destruction.
(1) INTERVENTION– Families and friends can have their loved one tested for hard drugs even against their will and if found in their system that individual would be forced to go through a drug rehabilitation program along with scared straight format. Of course there would be safeguards to insure that this program isn’t abused.
(2) FAMILIES– A family member or friend can face a penalty if they knowingly allow or permit their loved one from taking these poisons and as a result damage is caused to this individual or others.
(3) FACILITIES- There must be enough facilities to house and treat individuals who suffer from addiction problems and these individuals must pay back these programs through volunteering after their clean.
