SNL -Crosses A Line

Prince SNL SNL Prince 2

SNL crossed the line from a comedy music show to a music tribute show last night. Prince was a historic music talent that transcended many music genre’s but so many other talents that transcended other art forms have tragically past way and have not had this spotlight Michael Jackson & John Belushi are just two examples.  Will this be a new format for SNL when G-D forbid another “legend” tragically passes away and if so who will decide whether they meet that “legend/Icon” title to deserve such a show?  Only time will tell but it puts SNL in a box  that might be difficult to escape and therefore change the show forever.

Koch brothers support Hillary Clinton?

Charles Koch Hillary Clinton laughing

I thought it was a joke as well but it’s not April first and Charles Koch wasn’t laughing when he  basically said he could see himself supporting Hillary Clinton for President. One of the Tea Party’s greatest supporters has decided to try Diet Pepsi instead.  Of course he said Hillary would have to change some of the rhetoric she is using but that would occur in the general election anyway. I’m sure Hillary will deny wanting that support but when donations to the “Clinton Bank” start rolling in she might sing a different tune or not sing at all.   The political world has truly turned on it’s head and split open and I don’t know if it will every be put together again.

hiding in closet Secret 2

We all have secrets that we want to release but fear the outcome of our words. “IN THE CLOSET” will be the one reality show where individuals will have a chance to reveal their secrets to a therapist without revealing who they are. We will meet said individuals who appear to be regular common people but when they put on their mask and change their voice they will tell stories that they’ve never spoken of before in public. The therapist will attempt to have these individuals open the door to their closet and reveal their secrets to those they’ve kept it hidden from for years and the general public as a whole. Will they decide it best to remain in the closet or open the door will only be revealed “IN THE CLOSET”

Blame the dog

dog 1 dog 2 dog 3

If your children have grown up then it’s time to blame the dog for not getting “things done“. For who could fault if these furry little four legged friends pulled you away from your work for an extra pet or to play a bit more ball.  “I was ready to pull away but when they brought that look in their eye’s I thought well maybe just one more time.” Now that you got your excuse already make sure you have a cute dog because it doesn’t work with these pictures alone.

Lonely Sickness

Sickness can be a very lonely experience because no matter how someone tries to emphasize on  how you feel they truly can not, unless they are going through your exact experience. Tonight as I went to a family gathering one of my favorite activities was slowly closing on me … talking.  It became such a burden to me that I stopped trying and it made me feel sad and even a bit lonely in a crowded room. I guess it might feel the same for a blind person going to a movie theater or a diabetic going to a candy store with friends. In life it is said you must bear the burdens that come up or allow those burdens to take over your life but a saying can be more difficult to accept when it occurs to you.

A few words

No Voice

When you have Laryngitis all of a sudden every word truly counts. Your voice is strained even to speak a few words so you want to make sure that what you say, is clearly heard or at least heard at all.  It becomes a battle that only a moment ago was as easy as opening up your mouth.  If G-D willing I get better soon I’ll try to act in a way that remembers these thoughts.

Ted Cruz 2

There is no denying that Donald Trump has built up momentum after his crushing win in New York and polls showing him winning in Indiana. It’s therefore time for Ted Cruz to be bold and announce who would serve in his cabinet.  Here are some of the top picks I believe he should announce ASAP. Of course due to politics many will not accept such positions outright and Ted Cruz must announce that as well but this will give the American people a new perspective on the talent, experience and diversity they will see in a Cruz Administration.

VICE PRESIDENTSUSAN MARTINEZ- As governor of New Mexico she has experience in the Executive Branch and New Mexico is a pivotal state in this upcoming election.  It also doesn’t hurt that she is Hispanic American women.  Other possible choices  Former Secretary of State Condoleeezza Rice &  Iowa Senator  Joni Ernst

CHIEF OF STAFF- MIKE HUCKABEE- This governor has a friendly disposition that can bring people together to get things done.

DEPARTMENT OF STATEJEB BUSH- Governor Bush has the ability to get things done in his state and I believe he’ll do a great job on the world stage.

AMBASSADOR TO THE UN- MARCO RUBIO- Senator Rubio’s oratator skills will insure the United States positions are heard on key points.

DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR & HUD SECRETARY- DONALD TRUMP. Mr. Trumps experience in getting things built (including a wall) will be unmatched by others.

DEPARTMENT OF  COMMERCE- CARL ICHAN – Donald will be much happier joining a cabinet with talent that he truly recognizes and appreciates.

DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE- RICK SANTORUM- Senator Santorum has been a strong advocate for a well managed and funded defense department.

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE- RAND PAUL- An expert on constitutional law he’ll insure that the Justice Department is just for all the citizens of the United States,

DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY- SARAH PALIN- This will insure all avenues of energy independence are pursued.

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY- RUDY GUILIANI – He was there when our terrors fell and will pursue all avenues to keep us safe.

EPA- CARLY FIORINA- She’ll keep this organization under control so it only does what it needs to do without doing unnecessary actions that hurt the economy/jobs.

SURGEON GENERAL & DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION- BEN CARSON-He has the experience and philosophy to move these organizations in a direction that works for all the people.

DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS- RICK PERRY- Governor Rick Perry has a strong record of standing up for veterans rights and getting things accomplished.

DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY-GEORGE PATAKI- A governor with business skills is a perfect fit for this position.

Today the world mourns the loss of an artist that transcended many generations named “Moo”.  “The way he played the Cowbell moved me to tears”, said President Obama.  “Their was a liberating force that brought a new sexuality to the sound that know artist could create today”, said Justin Beiber.  Thousands have gathered in Times Square and around the world to mourn the loss of such a talent that brought joy to millions.  “Moo” did have a troubled past of drug abuse and frequent arrest for disorderly conduct, and battery but  the music he produced was what he and the world lived for. “Moo” was a daring political figure as he lead the nation in a Cowbell moment of silence for the Lobsters being boiled to death.   The world mourns an Icon “Moo” as he walks the steps to the Golden Gate with two Cowbells proudly in his hands.   PAGE 2- FANS REACTION, PAGE 3-8 Commentary for fellow artist.

Today I feel as if I woke as a mime without any training. For I have a bad case of Laryngitis that has made it very difficult for me to use my verbal skills. I realize how difficult life can become when you lose this skill even for a day. It can show how much you  truly are part of a conversation.  I just wish I had taken more seriously the Mime class they had in my grammar school … oh wait they never had this class.  G-D willing I’ll recover very soon and this day will just be a sound that a mime would make.

Bad Day To Die

I know it’s a morbid thought but if you were going to die you shouldn’t have it occur when a bigger celebrity dies before or during your passing. A matter of factor celebrities should have to have a time slot that doesn’t interfere with the public mourning. For they have been in the spotlight all their life’s can’t the public have their moment of fame even in death.   I guess in the end it doesn’t matter much unless your fans of earth determine your place afterwards.
