Will Forget

accepting an award

Once we’ve climbed the ladder to success we often forget those who helped us along the first rungs.  Maybe it’s their encouragement to climb that first rung or even them putting us in front of the ladder either way we shouldn’t forget what they’ve done for us. It is not enough to say thank you at an award ceremony to those that have given us this break but help them in their own pursuits for excellency and/or be there when they need us that truly count.  We may climb many mountains of success in our life’s and let us make sure we bring as many loved ones as we can along the way.

Too Religious?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Faith - No Comments

faith

Recently a loved one has said that I’ve become too religious to the point that it is turning her away from the faith.  I can understand how she might feel but I believe that she is looking at the cup 1/2 empty rather then 1/2 full.  I understand that there might be times that my faithful observances might interfere with her secular activities but there are more times that my faithful observances make me a better person. Here are just a few of the “too religious” that she believes I participate in and why they are bringing more good then harm.

SABBATH SAVINGS- On the Sabbath I do my best not to spend monies and although that might not mean grabbing a bite at our local restaurant I can assure her that I can make a great dish (okay good dish) as well add  $’s to our family budget and bring us together.

SABBATH REST-  I’m sure there are times that she would like us to drive around escape from something but the Sabbath rest gives me a time to listen better and help us to understand and enjoy what’s on the plate around us. Sometimes in our busy schedule we run around so fast that we miss the beauty that is right there.

SYNAGOGUE SERVICES- It’s not always the most exciting activity (sorry Rabbi) but taking the time away from one selves and praying for others as well as getting closer to    G-D helps us to see what is truly important in this life and beyond.

Jealous of Judd

judd Apatow

As I listened to interview of Judd Apatow by Howard Stern this morning an unusual feeling entered my emotional state… jealousy.  I’m usually the type of person who is completing happy with someone else’s success but Judd success hit me like a brick to the head.  The similarities between his life and mine were striking and I wondered how we turned out so different.  Discount his comedic brilliance and realize that we both were brought up 10 minutes apart in Long Island.  If that’s not bad enough he’s one year older and it struck me (not like that brick) that couldn’t we have had similar friends or enemies.  He loved watching many of the same T.V shows I loved but he took notes while I barely kept my eye’s open.    If by some coincidence this blog piece hits Judd Apatow’s desk I end by congratulating you for your success while I cry myself to sleep.

Lyle Mitchell = why some should stay single

Lyle Mitchel

How bad could your choice for a wife be, compared to Lyle Mitchell you married a saint. Here are a few of the basic rules  Joyce Mitchell has broken in her marriage vow.

(1) INFIDELITY- As much it is wrong sometimes people do go astray, but with murders. Come on Joyce even you could have chose better.

(2) MURDER- Well it was just attempted murder but you own husband who has stayed with you while you slept with murders.  Joyce your compassion touch should rest with others.

(3) BLOWING THE BUDGET- We all sometimes regret how our partner spends our monies but Mr. Lyle now has to see his monies being spent on defending his wife against attempting murder charges against him and helping a convict escape (who she slept with). Maybe that extra pair of shoes isn’t so bad.

celebrity 2

I’ve had my celebrity moments in life that didn’t involve a van but allowed me a few seconds of fame. Here is a quick list (below) of those moments that will always stay in my head if not my ego and be let out when need be.

(1) After a day of filming I had some fans asked for my signature.

(2) In a Supermarket a local fan ran up to me and asked whether I was the one in the movie.

(3) I appeared on several shows for a moment including “Nightline” & the  “Rolando Show”.

(4) My editorials have been published in the NY Post, LOHUD, and Newsday

(5) I have appeared on the several radio shows including the Mike Church show.

(6) A local News Network covered my cowboy trip experience in Wyoming.

(7) While attending a BMA show they made it appear like those attendees were adored by thousands of ranting fans.

(8)  I was a star in many school plays when I was in grammer school and although my name never hit Broadway it sure felt that way at this tender age.

PERSONAL DIARY-6/17/15- 6/18/15

I decided to go back in time because I can with my blog and want to make sure some exciting facts aren’t missed. For the “INPEX  Convention” might have appeared 1/2 empty to some but I saw it as 3/4 full with opportunity. There are so many great products out there that if only the right partner came forward would bring a great deal of wealth too many. I will explore whether my skills and contacts will allow me to be one of those partners.

OFF THE BEATEN TRAIL-  The other reason I had to go back in time was Clem’s Cafe (RT 22 East Blairsville, PAwhere the best garlic mashed potatoes can be found. These potatoes are so full of flavor it’s hard not to gain an extra pound at lunch time.   I thought they were so good that I had to save some for a loved one, unfortunately I forget to take them out of the car so Mr. Garbage enjoyed them instead.

RETURN- It was surprisingly easier then expected returning back to “routine work” ,  although it wouldn’t appear so in the first few hours. Yet I actually got to eat my lunch and dabble in other pursuits for a few moments as the day came to a close.

business partners

You have this great talent/idea that with a partners help would be extremely successful but where to find that right partner; “BUSINESS MATCHMAKER” of course. “BUSINESS MATCHMAKER” is a website that connects those with various skills together to work on a project or a business and realizes that it’s not only the talents that someone brings to a partnership but the chemistry that insures a right match.  For although one might be able to work with someone who has a certain skill level alone wouldn’t it be better to work with someone that you actually had a good time working with as well?  BUSINESS MATCHMAKER makes a match that’s just right for your dollars but also your smiles as well.

My Personal Diary 6-16-15 thru -6-18-15

Sorry but I caught up on this “INPEX Trip= Inventor’s Showcase” and time moved to fast.  The 7 hours each way was well worth it (I hope) because of the different opportunities it opened me up to. There were so many different inventions that could launch to the sky with the right distribution I just hope to be one those distribution channels that flies to the moon but not back.

ROAD TRIPS- I remember the long road trip that I would take to participate in G.O.P. convention in Pennsylvania driving everyday back and forth from NY was no easy task but well worth it.

SALES- It doesn’t feel to long ago when I had a flea market stand at Roosevelt Field in LI Island selling  “very imported” Ferrari glasses, towels, and silicone to any person who was walking my way. I guess 35 or so years is a short time depending on your perspective.

Key to Economic Growth!

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy - No Comments

key

It is not some economic policy from Washington D.C. that opens the door to growth but the inventor who opens the world to their invention. Of course policies in Washington that interfere or make it more difficult for such an inventor such as regulations, bureaucracy and such make it more difficult to get started but even in the worst of times  a few of these tinkers can find a way to escape these closed doors.  If only we just make sure that door is unlocked and get out of their way we will see many great inventors step forward with products that open up new jobs and opportunities to the masses and we all will playing with a better mouse trap (except the mouse)
