Complainers and Fish.

complainers

WHICH LINE ARE YOU IN?

Some people have a knack for complaining. It appears to be almost reflexive because as soon as they open their mouth a complaint comes out.  They are so talented in this skill that they can complain without saying a word, by their facial expressions and or body language.  I wondered which came first the complaining or the egg?

Complainers are in a class by themselves because there are rich, poor, black, white, Jew and Gentile complainers to be found. Some complaints are necessary because they make changes needed in society while others are there to let off steam or displace anger on someone else.  Complaining can be an art form though when it actually leads to change not just the act of letting out dead air.

Yesterday I wish I had that ability as I stuffed down a hard Matzoh Ball and starting eating fish that tasted a day old.  I guess the waitress saw my inner complaint and asked me if I wanted a different dish, which I gladly accepted. It takes awhile for me to complain because I believe it usually brings your mood down and doesn’t really change anything. I’d rather clean the spill then complain about the spiller. Yet sometimes I wish I could complain more. Why should they be able to complain and not me?  I guess because generally I’m a happier person then those that complain or maybe it’s because I try to avoid conflicts.  Either way just like most characteristics balance is the key and the art of turning a complaint into action is what truly matters.

Israeli Buffer Zone

israel Palestine peace

Israel has the right to live in peace and security withing it’s borders and that means it needs to create a buffer zone around those borders. This would be a narrow area around the Gaza Strip that is protected by Palestinians that truly seek peace and harmony with their neighbor.  This force would be formulated after Israel’s incursion in the Gaza Strip and pushing out or eliminating all gangster elements of Hamas. Those in charge of governing this buffer zone must not only pledge peace with Israel along its borders, work with Israel to eliminate terrorist elements, but also insure that their citizens are educated in peaceful coexistence.  In return Israel would insure that there governance would be protected by the state and receive proper financial aid to gain independence and expand further out if conditions warrant such action.  By showing other Palestinians how successful peace can be G-D willing others will seek to join this movement.

Adopt an illegal immigrant child?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy - No Comments

I’m wondering if there is an agency that lets you to at least adopt or foster care one of those children who are crossing the border?  We know that there are thousands of couples who are having difficult conceiving children and would be happy to take in one of these children that are crossing the border.  We also know the horrible conditions that these children are living under when they live in these “government shelters” so why is there no agency that places these children in loving families?  The government could even make money with this service by charging a light fee for the adoption service. What’s your thoughts on this issue.

It’s also strange how they say the border is well protected but a child can sneak across what happens when a terrorist has that same desire.illegal children

Good Extremist

extremist

Society tells us to ignore the “extremist” but I believe that might be to our own peril.  For the extremist warn us of what could occur if we continue down the path that we are going. They might appear to those as “conspiracy theories” but if we had listened to them in the past we might have stopped horrific events such as the rise of Adolf Hitler and 911.   I’m not saying we should follow every line but in between some of the rhetoric could be an underlining truth that is being ignored by others. We must discover those words and make sure those who are “less extreme” hear them and take note with their own words and actions.

Even those extremist that use hateful or discriminator language must not be ignored because we must find out where this hate comes from, in order to stop it from spreading like Cancer. We must not silence the voice even if we hate what is said but listen and challenge that voice with logic so that it dies on it’s vine. It is only when voices are forced into silence that extreme acts of hate and violence occur which hurt us all. Don’t be silent to hateful extremist but also don’t silence them.

Bush’s 3rd Term

george bush

Since the current occupant of the “White House” isn’t a big fan of the limits in the “Constitution” I wonder what would have occurred if the previous President felt the same way and some how was able to get a 3rd term? Where would our country and world be?   What do you think would have occurred. Here’s a few changes  (below) that I believe would have occurred.

(1) There would be peace in Iraq with a strong U.S. Presence never leaving the country.

(2) Mubarak would still be in charge in Egypt and if he fell there would be a more stable transition to Democracy.

(3) The U.S. Economy would have grown much faster with more innovations in the marketplace as lower taxes and regulations pushed the entrepreneurial spirit further then today.

(4) Community and local banks would be stronger as “Dodd Frank bill” so small banks could compete with the larger institutions.

(5) The “Affordable Care Act” wouldn’t have even been suggested and health care rates would probably be lower with health care generally better then it is today.

Why him/her… why?

desperate prayer

When bad things happen to good people we often ask why? We wish it would happen to someone else instead like a murderer, rapist, someone who robs the elderly or in firmed but not our loved one. The truth is we can’t see why a benevolent G-D would act in such a way. Here are some reasons this action might occur yet I can understand why this blog wouldn’t help those who are suffering today. May G-D bless you and those you are praying for.

(1) IT CAUSES US TO ACT! Whether that action be through prayer, bringing the family together or donating blood to the sick; we act.

(2) IT BRINGS US TO OUR KNEES- We are willing to plead for mercy when bad things happen but often neglect praising the good things.

(3) UNITES A COMMUNITY- Those that were so distant become one in love and kindness to those that are hurt or sick.

(4) CAN RENEW A FAITH- This can occur when our prayers are unanswered or when those prayers result in an unforeseen benefits to us and our community.

Maybe if we perform these acts more often less of why him/her will occur in the future and even if it doesn’t we will better off as a whole.

Survival Human

It’s time for a reality show that is truly real. A show that test the strength physically, mentally and emotionally of it’s contestants.  “Survival Human” is such a show where contestants are taken to some of the most difficult terrains with just their clothes on their backs and must find a way to survive without causing undue pain to their bodies or souls.

These contestants must be able to find livable conditions in unlivable terrains.  They will have to find a way to eat nutritional meals where nothing appears to exist find shelter that protects their inner and outer body. Challenges will occur which might depend on them working together just to get through but in the end only one will survive. “Survival Human” will showcase how the mind, body and soul of a human can endure almost anything.

I’m a celebrity!

celebrity

I’m a celebrity maybe with a few less fans but still a celebrity in my own right. Everyday  a young lady waits anxiously till I get up and when I do she doesn’t give me a moments peace. She even bangs on the door when I take a shower. There are times her brother will join her and follow me around. They wait impatiently for my every appearance as if I just got of a world tour.

I understand that these aren’t the human type of fans but what better loyalty can a celebrity have (if only Justin had a few more)  and the great thing about these fans is we can always find one at the local pound. It’s time you become a celebrity today and pick up your own four legged fan who will adore you at all times (you can also borrow mine for an hour or so). Enjoy the fame it can truly last a lifetime.

Name a movie that was great until it got to the ending?  A movie that’s ending was so bad it made you feel like the whole movie stunk. I’ll begin the list with “Nonstop” I wish I had stopped it with 30 minutes left to go
