I was speaking but the words didn’t actually belong to M-E. It’s not that I don’t feel those words but that the emotion was sparked by another who was truly pulling my strings. For, suddenly I realized that what I was saying and feeling looked into their mirror not my own. There continuous drumbeat stirred my heart faster then the one in my body as I realized resistance was futile. For they were the ventriloquist and I was just their puppet.
Sometimes you witness art and only one word comes out W-O-W!!! American Primeval is one such piece to hang on your wall. The texture is as rough as can be seen but still beautiful to witness. Does every color dry well no but in someway they all mesh to some degree. Incredible Cinematography, Costume Design, Action and story this is W-O-W piece of art. Where most characters are fully drawn out instead of just being black or white with a sprinkle of color along the way. American Primeval another W-O-W I’ve been blessed to witness.

It’s that little seed that sticks in the back of your tooth. The one that you try to dig out with all fingers and tongue on deck and just when it appears you have won the seed is still there with a vengeance. Many know about a pain in the neck but few talk about the pain in the crown. How annoying!!!
It was an event I almost made just as this weekend appears to be. I was waiting and waiting for hours upon hours in the cold storming weather when the door slammed in my face in more ways than one. Yet, just as the other events didn’t end in a climax, I at least enjoyed the journey. For, in the end I watched and listened to what was only a few inches away and felt good for just being so close yet so far away. Life’s almosts and this to the list.
The steam is just about to rise, and I feel there is nothing I can do to keep it down. For it bubbles from all the heat that is kept inside as it tries to make some sense of what the hell is going on!! So can you please turn off the Fu….. flame instead of making it hotter!!!
Just like that, the history of my family has disintegrated. Wildfires that didn’t need to occur annihilated over 100 years of achievement and keepsakes in minutes. If only the government cared as much about those who hired them then some little fish this devastation would never have occurred. What if this government utilized our hard earned monies to manage the forests and systems to deal with fires rather then try to micromanage our life’s would this fire destroyed so many life’s ? My families history might be wiped away but for the sake of those who came before I won’t let the politicians history that allowed this to occur vanish as well.

Many say “It’s just a Band-Aid it won’t solve the deeper wound”, but I say let the stick begin. For, the moment I put it on I don’t have to look at the problem anymore. Yes, it’s temporary but there’s always another you can have ready once it’s falling off. For, who wants a whole “operation” that would be more painful with recovery if at all, when a good old band-aid does the trick. I’m not avoiding the problem just looking for a solution that isn’t as painful to deal with. Band-Aid’s are great whether they come in a pill, bottle, sticky substance or listening device as life is short and there are plenty available.

Even our Rabbi and Priest see it differently I’m having a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a Happy Hanukkah. We may be from different faiths but these are days of the calendar so why shouldn’t they be Happy & Merry. Yes, I’m including Kwanza in this formula as well even if one’s heritage comes from a different path. So grab yourself some latkes, Egg Nog, Collard Greens and Brisket as you enjoy the holiday spirit of the calendar.
