Joseph Schooling

When the Olympics of 2016 are way in the history book one name will stand out Joseph Schooling who schooled Michael Pheleps in the 3 way butterfly.  Michael Pheleps who appeared to be invincible proved again that we all have our time and then must hand the clock to another. Will Joseph Schooling teach other swimmers a lesson only time will tell but for the moment the clock stood still for him in the waters of Rio.

Tim Teebow

Tim Teebow

They might have found a way for me to cheer the dreaded Yankees if Tim Teebow becomes a part of this team. After being blacklisted by the NFL for his outspoken conservative religious beliefs and maybe talent, it appears he’s appealing to the 30 major league owners to give him a chance.  Any MLB team would do themselves a favor by giving him a chance as it would boost viewers and seats in the stand whether he started or just substituted.  In conclusion I will cheer Tim Teebow on if he plays for the Yankees at least for his first hit at the bat but then on he’d have to switch teams.

Marcus Willis Wimbledon & Sports

Marcus Willis

Marcus Willis is a perfect example of why individuals such as I watch sports.  For Marcus shows how  giving it one more chance can turn your world upside down.  If you decide to stop feeling sorry for yourself for where you are in life and instead dedicate yourself to a dream sometimes those dreams can awake into reality. Marcus was  ready to give up his life shooting for that tennis dream but a girlfriend who truly was special convinced him otherwise and he caught the last spot in the Wimbledon tournament. He moved up to play the top player in the world and although that win was not in his hand and racquet that day just being there was victory enough.   Marcus demonstrates that it is not life diversions that get us to the ultimate goal but hard work, determination and a little help from a friend or two.

Jose Reyes and Mets =World Series Return?

Jose Reyes

Does Jose Reyes return to the Met’s from the Rockies spell a move to the World Series for the NY Met’s only G-D can say but enough Jose,  Jose, Jose, Jose might just get passed those Golden Gates. It is true that Jose Reyes alteration with his wife has caused this too occur before it’s time but don’t we all deserve a  2nd chance. Maybe I’m a bit biased because of my M-E-T-S blood type yet he is in recovery which  my Met’s were in for too long.    Met’s fans get your voices ready for Jose, Jose, Jose is back and with it a new star returns to our beloved team.

Cleveland Trailblazers Win and sleep.

Cleveland Trailblazers

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA championship in a game of endurance that still allowed me a few hours of sleep. It was a fast paced game that kept changing leads until the last seconds, yet didn’t have that cliff hanger so you could still shut your eyes without your mind staying awake.  Congratulation Cleveland Cavaliers and may this be a sign of how those who fall behind in a game or 2 can swoop back to victory on the basketball court or in the White House.

Indianapolis 500

Indianapolis 500 Indianapolis 500.crash

Will you be watching the Indianapolis 500 in less then 2 hours and if so can you honestly say you’ll be watching the sport for the race or the wild crashes in between? To be honest the sport is exciting because of the speed that these drivers are performing in and with speed can come some bumps along the way.  Car racing without crashes is Hockey without the fights we might want to reduce them but not eliminate them.  So enjoy watching the sport with the bumps along the way and G-D willing it will be a great race in which everyone gets the checker field for the next race on earth.

Tom Brady -Guilty, Innocent or Don’t Care

deflagate 3  Deflagate 2

Is Tom Brady guilty in Deflategate scandal or innocent, since the balls aren’t talking and his cell phone is “missing” from that period we may never know.  We know that Tom Brady openly admits to wanting to have an edge in the game so that his motive is clear but would he lower the air to this point.   Furthermore the longer the air from this case goes on and on the less interest the public has in it. We may never know the answer to this case and eventually won’t care as well.

Conor McGregor Retiring?

Conor Mcgregor

Conor Mcgregor is retiring from the UFC and it makes 0 difference in my life.  For although he was a top athlete in this sport (as recognized by Goggle search) I never even heard his name until I looked up Trending Searches on Google and he was at the top of the charts.  Now do I feel as if I’ve been living under a rock or that I never followed UFC.  I’ll stay with the later realizing that Conor Mcgregor must be a great fighter that I never want to get into a argument with.  I wish Mr.  um I mean Mcgregor well on his retirement from a sport that has had no impact on my life but had a great deal on his and his fans.

Caroline Panthers VS Denver Bronco’s or REVENGE

Carolina Panther VS Denver Broncos 1 Carolina Panther VS Denver Broncos 2 jpg

It was the worst prediction I made in years as my Panthers were trounced by galloping Bronco’s but the opening of this football season begins with the words REVENGE.  My Panthers are hungry and horse meat is just wants on their fangs.  So enjoy running free you Bronco’s because on September 8th we will have you walking away with your tails between your legs…. I hope.

NFL Player Will Smith Killed -Road Rage

Will Smith

Defensive End Will Smith was killed in a road rage attack this Sunday. It’s so sad to see such a talent have their life ended in a blink of an eye by a fit of anger that Will Smith was always able to control on the field.  A moment of anger and hate that can blind a person from the truth around them into a raging animal only bent on death and destruction. May the untimely death of Will Smith cause us to reflect on moments of anger and channel them to constructive purposes that build on one’s life instead of destroy them. RIP Will Smith
