Making it to a 100 is quite an achievement in any bodies life but to have the outstanding artistic achievements that Mr. Douglas has accomplished adds a whole new group of candles to his cake.  His films expand many decades from classics like “The Glass Menagerie”to 20,000 Leagues Under to the Sea all the way to Spartacus as well as appearing in dozen of television production.  Yet it is not only the accomplishments that he has achieved that have made his life so memorable but also the wonderful achievements of his talented children. So Happy Birthday Kirk Douglas a man who has added so much art not only to his generation but to many that have proceeded it.

Mick Jagger living the life …. again

Oops he’s done it again and this time at 73.  Starting to be a dad at 73 has got to put another wrinkle on Mick Jagger’s face but he’s living the life … again and again. It shows it’s never to old to act like an irresponsible youth when you have the monies to pay for it all. For before this new Jagger enters High School there’s a good chance his dad won’t be able to walk the steps without a few extra aides.  Mick Jagger the  singer, father, grandfather and father again how times fly and never really change.

Son of Zorn = LAUGHS

When life gets a bit too serious it’s time for a super comedy to step in and Son of Zorn comes to the rescue. It was easy to make this show a bit to silly and fall into the stupid category but the actors play with the Zorn character as if he is real and it’s hysterical.  Maybe over time the jokes will get a bit too cartoonish but for now I’m laughing as if it’s a combination of Seinfeld meets Daffy Duck or something like that.  Son of Zorn because all jokes aside this comedy is funny (at least the 1st two episodes.

**** Son of Zorn- 3 stars if you don’t enjoy cartoon characters with Orange hair (really Orange).

Donald Trump’s Song- WHY

I believe I understand a great deal about President Elect Trump but I don’t have a clue why he ends most of his rallies with this song unless there is a deeper meaning or… he just loves this song.  Whatever the reason it’s a great song just in the wrong venue … I think?

Neil Diamond Concert

Neil Diamond is returning to the big stage as he announced his 50th Anniversary Concert Tour and it will be a show for all generations especially those with a bit more gray then the average concert goer.  Concerts are all about the fun and Neil Diamond’s music and performances should live up to that title even if it takes a few slower steps to get there. I think it’s time for you to try and find a seat but if you can’t  here’s one of his classics (below) that if you can’t you still won’t resist singing along too.
