There was a time when I was obsessed with certain musical groups not to the point of groupie love but that I “had to see or hear them” but I’m afraid that time has passed. For today I’m not sure if there is any group which has built that loyalty in my heart or soul and I wonder if that’s a good or bad thing? It was truly fun while it lasted and maybe just maybe the time will come again. Yet for now here are some groups (below) which made up such a big part of my previous life some I’m more proud of then others.

As I sat in a taxi cab last night I realized the truth could be thrown out the window till my next ride. For when we are with strangers the sky is the limit on who or what we want to be. Unless the stranger is on Google they probably won’t find the truth about you until you left the scene. It’s probably not the ethically thing to do but I wonder how many strangers have told me their stories of a different life or time.  Who you are in the moment maybe just who someone wants to be then instead of who they truly are?

It might actually be better politics then expected in Montana when taking on a reporter literally and physically. Let’s face it annoying reporters are loved by the public as much as tax auditors and who wouldn’t love to give them a little push. Greg Gianforte might have pushed the line in states such as New York but in Montana a little push back might be just what the people in Montana want from their representatives. The trust factor has left the press room and until it’s brought back that the  media can be fair and balanced some in the public might want to kick them out as well.  I’m not saying it’s the right response but some times being right may not be as effective in the political world as we might think it would or should be. For now the press might want to be a bit more on their toes just in case it’s time for them to leave the scene.

If you want to make some dough ($$) then have some sauce and cheese on the side and move to Tel Aviv or anywhere else in Israel. Where I was told repeatedly that the best pizza can be found in Dominos or Pizza Hut, which any pizza lover knows is a sin maybe from the new book.  For how can a great metropolitan city go without a great slice? Don’t get me wrong maybe there is a hidden gem out there but just the perception leaves room for any entrepreneur who knows how to make the dough to actually make some real dough with sweet sauce, nice cheese and a little Oregano on top. I’m getting hungry already.

Greg Gianforte who is running for Republican Congressman in Montana committed a political error that could strike him out for this election cycle. Whether he had the right to “body slam” an annoying reporter we may never know since we weren’t in the room when the incident occurred but politics requires a certain amount of patients especially when you have the liberal press looking for some blood to bring any R down. Mr Gianforte should have had an associate take care of this matter or simple called the police if he felt he was being harassed beyond an acceptable point. For he should have used this rule “stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” especially if I’m a Republican.

The hideous attack on the innocent by a loser terrorist after a concert points us to new directions which allow us to be victorious. These maybe a bit inconvenient but in the long run will insure safety and security to all guests of such venues. Here’s a few aspects (below) of such changes.

(1) ADDED EXITS- New exit locations should be added to all large venues to make sure there isn’t crowds leaving all from the same place.

(2) FLEXIBLE EXIT TIMES- Concert goer’s will leave at different times depending on which location they are seated in. Maybe instead of a warm up band they’ll be a warm down band.

(3) SNIPERS POSTED- Security will have snipers posted on top of such venues from different vantage points to make sure that suspicious individuals or packages will be fully vetted or eliminated if there is a situation.

There are times in one’s life where they feel  as if they’ve entered the golden gates, for a chocoholic such as I yesterday was one of the days.  Me and my loved ones went on a Chocolate tour of some of the finest establishment’s in all of Zurich with an incredible spokesperson/lecturer Christina Fryer who taught us learning can be delicious. It is true most of the bars didn’t touch the 86% cocoa my palate has gotten used to but the varieties of flavors still stayed on my heart and the knowledge Mrs. Fryer passed on us will stay in my mind for years to come. We enjoyed delights from some of the more traditional places such as Sprungli and one’s that are a bit newer to the market such as Mar’s with their own unique flavors to Chocolate. There were other sweets along the way but Chocolate was the flavor I came for and the one that led me down these gates. Thank you Christina for a wonderful time in Chocolate Paradise.

No matter how much planning is put into packing there is always an item(s) that are missing. It can be that razor, toothpaste or extra pair of socks you left behind instead of the ten extra underwear’s you don’t need. For some reason everything looks just right before you zip it up and then once it’s unzipped you wonder where you left your brain. The solution is simple just keep packing after you arrive. That’s right buy an extra bag and pick up all the items you left behind during your trip. This way you won’t be without even if you have to be with extra upon your return.

It appears there was a terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in England which shows the dangers in “soft large targets”. It’s not only difficult to secure a venue for the thousands of guests that are attending but how about the hundreds that supposedly work throughout the venue period. For all you need is one human error or extra break and terror can literally walk through the door. That is why this is a war we must continually fight for the enemy will stop at nothing to kill the innocent. Vigilance and new security are key but making sure the fight is on their soul instead of ours must also be instituted. May G-D help us win this war so that those innocent victims at last night’s concert will be the last one’s to so innocently perish.
