Albert dedicated his life to finding out what made someone brilliant and successful. He would take long walks down a certain path studying Rashi, Socrates and Plato as he gained knowledge he could never have gained by his own intellect but still something was missing. Albert would study with the great teachers and scholars of his time and found nuances that shocked his mind yet still pieces were hidden. Then he would develop his own products and his name became famous as he spoke at great universities still a voice lingered on. Albert was even able to operate and save others lives yet he felt he couldn’t save himself.

He would continually walk down the same path that helped him expand his mind yet this day Jessica his 3 year old grand-daughter who had down Syndrome was with him. While deep in thoughts Jessica pulled on Albert’s arms with excitement as Albert attempted  to annoy her plea.  Then Albert with annoyance looked at Jessica as she pulled the most beautiful rose from the ground and handed it to him. Albert sniffed the rose and smiled as he said “now I truly understand”.

Tomorrow brilliance will rise from these pages probably some time at night.  For I know I had this concept that was incredible which I was planning to write tonight but I will wait for tomorrow night to share it with the world. It is not to build suspense but if it does then maybe it was meant to be. For this brilliant idea is left with a stupid mind who wrote it on a scrap paper that I hope I can find and share with the world tomorrow or maybe whenever my mind things of it again.

You invaded my life and wouldn’t let me be! For every call I made your voice came through. Every step I took you were looking behind me or just around the corner.  I couldn’t watch a show without seeing your face glaring at me in the background.  My escape with music only led me to your screeching voice.  Forget about sleep it only had images of you haunting my subconscious. So you see you had to die just to give me some peace even if it’s through this prison at least of free of YOU!!!!

I am a “Zoo Baby” for  I still get excited about going to the zoo as if I was a baby but you don’t have to change my diapers…. at least for now. I still get a kick out of seeing my other animal friends even if I have to climb over strollers to get a peak.   For some reason many other homo sapiens believe you must have some young homo sapien along for the ride to enjoy or animal brothers and sisters (according to Darwin) so if you need such a child I’ll be ready to act.   I’ll play the part of being amazed at all the colors and sizes of all our animal friends for I still am.  Warning though the strollers don’t fit my derriere.

DEEPEST QUESTION OF THIS MINUTE

I will need your full brain muscle for this question or you can borrow your friends.  If a glass of Sangria cost you $9 and a pitcher of Sangria cost you $18.00 which do you choose when only 2 are at the table? I think you might know my decision after this post but I’m not sure I won’t regret this decision in the morning.  Of course for the moment the pitcher was the right decision even if I had to drink 2, 3, 4, 5 glasses etc to make sure I got my $’s worth.  Wait if I just had 3 glasses it would have worked out but I’m too drunk to figure out this math equation.

Houston will actually see the fruit of hard working labor on this Labor Day unlike the rest of the country. For thousands of hard working individuals with various skills and walks of life will volunteer to work to rebuild this great city while the rest of us observe it in the sun.  They will show us the value of hard work and what can truly be accomplished when we all work for the general good instead of divide among groups.  This Labor Day Houston and the other areas hit by Hurricane Harvey should continue to be in focus as we look to appreciate all the individuals that truly make this country great again.
