I was told by my son that he dreamed I  had sold him to Islamic Terrorists and then had the nerve to ask him for a favor. This dream haunted him instead of made him laugh. It was so ridiculous because I don’t have any friends that are Islamic terrorist, I’m not a big fan of the slavery, the Islamic Terrorists would want to kill me first before I even started talking, and I love my son through and through. Which draws me to the point why don’t we laugh at the ridiculous dreams that come in our own heads? We often feel we can’t suspend our feeling of disbelief in a movie then why can’t we do it our own head and start laughing instead. Maybe it’s because the characters in our subconscious are much deeper then we see on the screen and we are the writers of this script. The Truth is it’s bad enough that we’re the only one’s sitting in this theater so why ridicule our own dream even if it is completely ridiculous.

As the last Jewish person in the world I run through the woods in fear as a man with a knife hunts me down. He pins me to the corner pulls a knife to my neck as he is just about to add to his  list when I awake in horror. This was a nightmare I had just before my teens and although I forget what I ate for dinner on Tuesday this nightmare still lingers. Here are two more of those memories that stay in my mind (below) although I can’t count the nightmares where individuals close to me appeared to die when my eyes were closed.

(1) It’s a family trip down a long bridge when suddenly the bridge cracks and we start to fall towards the water. I see myself drifting out of the car when I suddenly awake.

(2) I appear to be awake when suddenly thousands of bugs litter my floor. I throw down my blanket and run to my parents to rescue me and as I reappear in my room they are suddenly gone.

Let us all pray to G-D in our special way to have mercy on those in Florida and the east coast who appear to be on Hurricane Irma’s Path. This might not stop the wind and rain but will be guaranteed to lesson the damage it might cause.  For prayers to G-D work even if we may not fully feel the impact in our own life’s till much later on.  If worst comes to worse those in Florida and in Irma’s path will know we are taking the time to think about them before impact and that can help inspire them afterwards.

“IT” is a good horror movie in terms of fear effect but lacks the story and character development that leaves a viewer terrified.  Characters are two dimensional so it’s difficult to suspend your disbelief enough to have those feelings linger past the actual shock of a scene. The sound score and foley are creapy but that’s not enough to hold the “fear factor”. We also have difficulty understanding the actions of the characters because there motivational forces don’t seem to make any sense. “IT” leaves you thinking was that it or is something that was truly missing?

It appears that the book or movie are going no where but you continue to believe there must be some light at the end of the tunnel so you continuing reading/watching until all hope is lost. Where you draw your line determines how much time you will waste or whether you will truly get to the “good part” and whether it was really worth keeping it alive for this time.  You want to believe there is some hope after seeing a glimmer of hope on page 18. I regret not  killing the many books, movies and shows that I kept alive instead of giving them the proper burial hours or days before.  Time wasted that could have been spent on projects that at least had some heartbeat.  Yet if one project turns the corner isn’t it worth the time wasted on other projects for entertainment is something you truly don’t want to kill before it’s time. When the time is called is something every person must decide for themselves with some helpful advise from a critic.

News is something that sparks people’s interest because it’s “unusual” or “unexpected” therefore the lack of coverage of a Democratic Senator Menendez  trial on felony charges  does not fair well for the Democratic brand as a whole. You might say that if a Republican was accused of the same crime there would be wall to wall coverage and you are probably right but is that all because of media bias or is it not to be expected with someone who carries the G.O.P Brand?   Initially it might appear good for the Democrats not to have coverage of this trial but when you dig deeper there appears to be something that is rotting and if it doesn’t get cleaned up the whole brand might be thrown in the garbage.

At 1st I thought it was a bad idea but keeping zombies off the street sure has it’s benefits.  First of all  zombies work for their food, literally and if you feed them well they hardly bite back.  There not to picky when it comes to what they eat so any parts will do.  Of course you’ve got to keep  them on a tight leach or you can lose a finger or hand.  They don’t complain about working long hours although they move at a zombie pace. Hygiene is a problem but you sorta get used to the smell of rotting flesh especially if there is good ventilation.  Quitting time is the worst part for you truly have to be out of there way before the ring of this bell.  They also aren’t the most punctual but everyday there appears to be more looking for work as they literally try to break down my door.  Zombie help it may not be for everyone but lately help is hard to come by.

It would be a deal that would shock even the writers of “House of Cards” and bring President Trumps agenda through the finish line or have the impeachment hearings starting the day after it was discovered.  For if a deal was made where Senator Menendez resigned from his Senator’s seat “because he couldn’t fulfill his duty while on trial” GOP Governor Chris Christie could pick his Republican replacement. This would give the President at least 6 months to have a strong 50 votes to pass his agenda through the Senate. Why would Senator Menendez agree to such a deal well maybe a Presidential Pardon would be of hand.  Of course the President could claim that he was pardoning the Senator for the previous good works that he has done not the work that gets done once he resigns.  How could the Democrats object to pardoning a fellow Democrat and how could the Republican’s object to seeing their agenda finally get passed?

For a moment time stood still. It might have moved for others but in my life there was no tick or tock. It appeared I could breathe easier not actually worrying whether I needed to start my day or rest for some period that I couldn’t message. Was it true peace I was gaining or the agony of not knowing what was truly going on?  All I could see was that it was still night and it would take hours to determine if time was actually changing or a sudden  ability to find my damn cell phone.
