Enimem’s provocative song that is “anti-trump” is way too predictable that it’s boring. He’s trying to stay relevant in a world that feeds this garbage and so he puts out more of the same boring expected lyrics.  Enimem if you wanted to really be creative and dare I say artistic why don’t you try something that will have your audience think in a different way dare I say understand those who have a different point of view.  Yet maybe that is too much of a challenge for an industry that censors those who think and sing a bit differently.

It’s my one chance to make my dream come true and I’ll do anything to make it happen! As long as that mantra is true and there are beautiful woman and men competing for the same position with only one deciding, then you’d have to be naive to think “Harvey Weinstein’s” are going away. For even if it’s a tease has gone way too far many won’t complain as they make it a further step up their ladder and once you get up that far maybe it’s time to keep quiet if you want to hold your position. That is why many in the business are so liberal because they feel guilty for what they’ve done “to make it” that they feel they must root for the underdog and insure their names don’t get on the Weintein list. So of course over time this story will repeat itself with the same tragic ending(s) unless those with stronger backgrounds and better relationships on and off the set become the deciders.  People who chose character and talent over other factors and in Hollywood maybe that is just a pipe dream.

If there could be a show that made millions on basically nothing maybe I can write one post on the same subject matter. Seriously this blog post is about “nothing”. For at this exact moment I have nothing I’m thinking about worthy of writing about except for “nothing”. So if you find this entertaining then tell others and I’ll write about nothing more often.

Donna Karan has stepped where many men and conservatives could never step unless they want to appear as ****.  For she has raised a question that is in many a mind but hardly spoken, that a woman might “ask for problems” by the appearance and the attitude she brings to a man.  Are her provocative words meant to open such a discussion or defend a good friend Harvey Weinstein? It is yet to be determined but just because we find the acts by Mr. Weinstein reprehensible can we also say that a woman can be somewhat an accomplice or at least not Virgin Mary. It’s time this discussion occurs not to excuse such behavior but maybe help prevent a Yellow light from turning Green.

Today is “World Mental Health Day” and this year they are focusing on what occurs at our offices. I want to share with you some key words (below) that I learned from National Alliance for Mental Health or NAMi so that you will better understand those who happen to have a sickness in their head instead of another part of their body. Please note just like any sickness with good treatment we can truly help those who are suffering.  Finally realize that you can only help those who truly want help and for each two steps forward there might be a step back but at least you’re moving in the right direction.

TRIGGERS– This is some type of action or words that cause someone to  have an outburst of emotions. It might appear insignificant to you but please understand it’s similar to a pin that stabbed a camels back and it truly hurts those who are suffering.  Therefore even if it seems insignificant to you and even the world do not little belittle such feelings for those are real and need an empathetic ear.

EPISODE– When an individual who has a mental health condition has an outburst it can be defined as an episode and just as one changes a channel after it occurs those that have this illness may not realize that they had this outburst. It is best to try and move on with them to a different channel until a time and place where a safe discussion can be had about the feelings not what had actually occurred.

YOU- For someone who is suffering from a mental health episode “You” is a dangerous word. It puts the individual in a defensive mode and will not help alleviate the problem(s) “I” on the other hand is safe and helps the person who is suffering understand better what is occurring and how it makes you feel.  

Thank you Jemele Hill for giving me a team to root for in the NFL, America’s Team the Dallas Cowboys. For after your tweet suggesting a  boycott of  the Dallas Cowboys because the owner Jerry Jones is forcefully enforcing NFL Code concerning respecting our flag, I’ve decided that this will become my NFL team instead.  Although I’m a proud New Yorker I’m a proud American 1st and will support those who respect what our country stands for even if it is still a work in progress.  So thank you Jemele for now I can watch the NFL again with pride and even buy a jersey or two.

There is a dispute on how great Columbus truly is but in his day would we deny his accomplishments? While others feared discovery he risked his life to see what others turned a blind eye to. When one comes to a new land there is always good and bad such a discovery brings to those that are already there but know one can argue that it was daring for his time. That is why Columbus Day must not be destroyed but expanded. It should look at the whole picture even if the sea of knowledge is difficult to navigate it’s time we truly explore.

(1) ETHNIC PRIDE- Those of Italian descent have much pride in the bravery of Columbus but so should other groups that have had explorers enter new lands as well as the Native American’s who lived in those lands before.

(2) EXPLORATION- The idea that we don’t just sit on our laurels but seek to expand and discover new insight even at great peril is something every child and adult should seek.

(3) WESTERN SOCIETY- Western society needs to be viewed not only under the microscope but globally and in a time frame that actually existed not in some Utopian period.

Life is perfect I thought. Every thought I ever had was of happiness “Brother” made sure of that but today I left with a note that has me wondering. For I was to see my grandfather and this note gave me a direction where that could be. It had to be a positive memory otherwise I would have never known about it. It all happened after I saw a child cry normally we are taught to ignore such emotions because “Brother” will absorb for them but for some reason I rebelled and reached out as I comforted the child. The looks I received from the crowd convinced me I had to run away but where the note  gave me some idea. So here I am but where is Grandpa there is only this rock bearing his name and a date?  A different emotion is coming up and suddenly someone touches me. She is one of the most beautiful woman I’ve ever scene and would love to be with her at this moment yet she says she is my girlfriend? Why don’t I remember what else has “Brother” taken care of for me?
