Do Your Job

California Bar Shooting 2 Pittsburg Shooting 2

Do your job for G-D’s sakes! The 1st responsibility of government is to protect us from enemies within and without and these mass killings continue to prove that it is failing us.  The failure is due to government inaction to help those who need treatment before they hurt themselves or others even if they refuse such help. Just look at most mass shooting and you will find a pattern where neighbors, family members or acquaintances knew their was a steam pot ready to explode.    Here are the steps (below) we should demand our government takes to protect us all.

(1) WATCH SOCIAL MEDIA– If individuals have troubling posts full of violent content then automatically have a mental health care individual visit their residence as well as have a detective interview neighbors, friends and family members of the individual. This all should be done to help the individual instead of in a threatening way.

(2) LONER  Have mental health care professionals reach out to those who are know to be “loners” in their community and help them find a connection to others as well as get the help that they might be missing.

(3)  AUTOMATIC COUNSELING-   Any individual who has gone through a “major traumatic experience” (serving in war,  expelled from school,) receiving counseling even if it means going to their home and/or work place.

(5) ALERT AUTHORITIES-   Make sure that Peace Officers are notified of said individuals so they can modify said individuals.

(6) MONITOR  Even if said individuals appears to be fine monitor them for a period of time and request that they go to group counselng again in a friendly non threatening way.

(7) FORCED TREATMENT  – If said individual continues to have “episodes” then forced treatment should occur in a controlled environment.

Civility 101

Antifa 1 Antifa 2

It’s time that Civility 101 is brought back to the town square. Where individuals who have various points of view can express them without fear of the mob attack.  A day should occur shortly where even the most contentious discussions can occur as while we break bread together instead of try to throw people of restaurants or now their own homes.  Civilty 101 needs to be where we all draw the line no matter what stripes we have on and those that fail the class are the ones we all should tossed out.

Simple Pleasure

breath of fresh air

As I was rushing my dogs to end their walk so I could change my world they stopped me in my tracks to enjoy the moment a bit more. It was a breathe more but it invirogated my body, mind and soul to write this post.  Here are a few simple moments I need to add to my schedule this time of year.

(1) BREATHING IN- As the weather becomes a bit more frosty breathing in the cool air warms the entire body.

(2) OBSERVING- The fall season goes so fast that I forget to obeserve all the colors as they fade too fast way to fast to brown.

(3) WATER- A nice cold glass of water works anytime of the year.

(4) PETTING- When my hands need a bit more warmth petting my four legged friends causes them to toast back up.

Guatemala- Day 4-ish- Return Hell

Guatemala Airport

Sometimes the arrival home can be more of an adventure then the journey there and that is a good way to put this day. It started out great with a wonderful complimentary breakfast that was one of the best I’ve ever eaten or at least the best in this country. Everything you could think about it was on the table and dishes you never knew existed. The Guatemala airport went smoother then I expected and there were plenty of places to shop along the way to my gate.

Everything was going as planned until we arrived back in the United States where Houston was less then hospitable. My son was taken in a special room by Homeland Security which I couldn’t visit partially because we took the wrong Passport  but basically because he fit their profile of someone else. My family had to wait in a separate area as they had me personally pick up our luggage to be boarded on a separate plane. My son was finally releasaed from homeland security but his passport was taken and when I tried to get it back they made me feel as if I was the next person they would bring in their room. We barely made our connecting flight and touched down in Newark way past my night time.  To conclude flight travel can bring you down instead of flying high.

Bud Rebel Charitable Trust- Saving Life’s -Part 1

helping hands

I’ve formulating a Charitable Trust to insure that the monies I contribute to a good cause actually perform good works.  One of the areas that I would love to be able to make a dent in is the situation with the homeless so that they can become a productive member of society and find true happiness.  I believe that these founding guidlines (below) could truly change the current deadend too many of these individuals face. Therefore if I could find a charity that is willing to implement these goals then I would commit my time, energy and resources to help make it a success.  G-D only knows what an individual can accomplish when they locate their door even in the dark.

(1) Provide a basic housing structure for individuals to live in.

(2) These individuals willing to enter the program will receive a “debit type card” that they will earn points on whichc can use at the “store” to  add new items/decoration to their residence.

(3)  Points will be earned when an individual attends group therapy, mental and/or drug rehabilitation, spiritual guidance, job training, artistic expression, proper etiquette lessons as well as working at said facility.

(4) Once an individual graduates from the program the facility will help locate employment and housing for said individual as well as continue to help them with their growth.

(5) Individuals will also be required to volunteer at the facility or in the field to help others that are suffering.

(6) Everything will be performed with tough love as well as through confidence building

(7) The charity will also continue to seek corporate sponsors that will help it grow in other locations.

Creating the Wheel

wheel 2

Yes, I know I’m basically creating the wheel for my blog but at least it’s moving.  For in a few weeks (G-D willing) I will have a search window installed right up front which will allow the viewer to look at any of the posts that I’ve written over the past 5 years by subject matter.  Yes, this incredible innovation will be added to my blog posts so that you can pick my brain from the past and present on anything that exists there or existed before because I never pressed delete.  Now if only I could find that device which keeps pants up …. oh I got it a belt!

Voter Sticker WHY?

Voted Stickers

How much $$$$$’s was spent on the millions of stickers given out during this election cycle? Your $$$$’s that could have been spent on our children’s, seniors or basic infrastructure needs instead? Did these stickers really make others want to vote and if so should these people need such an incentive in the first place? Could a corporate donor had sponsored the stickers so at least it wouldn’t have come out of our pockets? How about the cost of multi- colored stickers instead of black and what? Oh well at least we all got a pretty sticker that…. WE OVER PAID FOR!!!

2018 Midterm Results- It’s up to U

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

pointing-at-you-2

The 2018 midterm results appear to prove 1 significant point, in the next two years what occurs in this nation will be up to U.  For if as the pundits say is correct and the Democrats have really taken control of the House of Representatives while the Republicans control the Senate then nothing with any significance will be passed by our legislative branches. That means the power is really in the hands of the people to determine our economic & cultural futures without discentives or incentives coming our way. You will decide and if you feel that a little push this way or that way would help well you have 2 years to make sure an adjustment.

FOOTNOTE- It’s up to you New York has been decided and I think it’s time for me to move.

GUILTY

Dog In Jail 2  Dog in Jail

The court finds you guilty as charged for the following crimes (below). You will be sent to the dog house with leniency for good behavior or licks.

(1) INDECENT EXPOSURE- Even the cartoon characters wear a shirt

(2) SEXUAL HARRASMENT–  It might not actually be sexually but it is harrassment how many licks can one person take …and the ear?

(3)  STALKING- Maybe a little room would be nice. I’m literally being smothered.

(4) PUBLIC DEFECATIONS– This would be excused since the toilet doesn’t fit your body type but my kitchen floor give me a break and some wipes.

FOOTNOTE- See being a dog isn’t so bad after all for these are crimes we with 2 legs would be sent to the pound for.
