A True Story
A TRUE STORY ….. FOR MANY
It seemed like yesterday that I wore my leftist colors with pride for standing up for those least among us, oh how times have changed. Where we stood for a women’s right to choose their lifestyle, now we choose for their right to kill the least among us even as they individuals try and breathe their 1st breathe. I believed in a party that stood for the rights of the workers in our factories now backs deals that close these factories forever with over-regulations and bad trade deals. It was a leftist agenda that stood against government tyranny now is know where to be found when it comes to one’s supposedly based on socialist agenda’s but only allow those connected to rise. There was such a time when my leftist community supported freedom of speech for everyone now it is subject to words that have been blacklisted. A time where our movement truly stood for innocent before proven guilty is now judge and jury before even a trial begins. There was a time when this blog post would be far from true but today it is a true story.

THE….
I tried to move my lips but only one word escaped “THE”!! Incapacitated by the sight and sound my mind froze with fear which gripped my very soul. There was no way out! No word which could free me from the terror that held me to “THE” and though I sort some type of warmth I knew that this word would be the last I would utter.

ROMA- NYU
Roma has the feel of an NYU Film school project rather then something worthy of an Academy Award. Yes, all the right colors are on the wall but there isn’t much to look at. For it’s artistic with symbolic images all over the place that one can think about over time yet during the screening one wonders why? Many a scene goes know-where and an ending that says “is that it”? NYU would be proud I’m just not sure the Academy should feel the same way.

Robert Kraft-Why
PLEASE NOTE THIS BLOG PIECE IS BASED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE PUBLIC ACCUSATIONS ARE TRUE & THOUGH THERE IS STRONG EVIDENCE TO SUBSTANTIATE THIS CLAIM A PERSON IS ALWAYS INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY
Why Robert Kraft why? Why would a man of these means stop to the level of going to a local illegal prostitution ring and on top of it at a strip mall? Here is a 73 year old man who’s libido has to be not at it’s peak that could easily take a trip to Las Vegas Bunny Ranch for the same experience and it would be legal as well as regulated. I’m a person who frowns on prostitution as a whole for it how it treats human beings yet when it is legal and regulated at least we know that these individuals in this industry are not sex slaves that have been sold as minors. Mr. Kraft has accomplished so many great things for his business and team yet this act if true might be the legacy that stays with him. With a lower libido then his team-mates and the means to do what he wants legally the question must still be asked why Robert why?

Fallen-
Last night I saw man’s best friend and another’s best friend fallen within a 5 minute drive. For there was a dog lying in the middle of a NYC street with many people trying to help and a person who was lying on a sidewalk in a similar situation. Great Samaritan’s were there to help out those in the need. I also watched a sneak premiere of a movie describing a person who had fallen so deep that found a way to climb back to redemption. Maybe it was all a sign that we should not judge a person’s mistake as long as they are truly trying to climb up. For G-D lifted those up after the making of the golden calf then surely we should be there to lift each other up as well no matter how close we are to the edge.

Call You
I called you today because someday we won’t. Not that I won’t want to speak to you but where one of us will be the other will be without. They’ll just be that one day where one of us will say I wish they were on that other line but wishes won’t create this reality. So yes it might be annoying to hear my voice now but G-D willing it will be there for many, many….years to come.

A Star is Born….. or Snoring
How many roses can one pick before catching a thorn? That is the question which I held onto as I watched “A Star Is Born”. For what draws a viewer in is the many clouds on the horizon and or storm to get through. In other words “A Star Is Born” has no real conflicts until the last section of the film and is rather tedious. There is nothing that separates this film from any other story about musicians except that is much more dull. So dull that I decided to dream about a whole different movie before the ending as I got some shut eye instead.
** 1/2- I gave an extra star because I didn’t make it to the ending and I heard it was compelling then. I also viewed the film in not the best atmosphere so I added a 1/2 to be compassionate.

A New Clock Ticking
A new clock is ticking with those I hire in my life. For if I have to complete tasks at a certain time I expect you to do the same or at least give me ample time if you want me to set the arms back. No more will I allow those who currently work in any capacity and/or seek such work arbitrarily melt the time zone. Life keeps moving forward and I won’t be held back by laziness, incompetence and/or forgetfulness. My stop watch is now working and when the time stops so will your employment with me.
