Values Right

Before I take a step I try to make sure it’s not off my path.  There are many diversions up ahead and that is why I must look at the road map (below).

(1) G-D- Yes, it might appear old fashion but I try very hard to be guided by the biggest bright light. Although at times shiny lights lead me astray.

(2) FAMILY- As long as the big light is still burning I try not to cross this line.

(3) WORK ETHIC- I work not just for the paper but for the pride in what I try to leave the world.

(4) FRIENDS- My friends are important part of my life yet if they are truly on my path then they must not put detours ahead.

(5) FUN- I try my best to sprinkle that on the road where-ever it might take me.

Just Evil

Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness! 44 Senators voted against the most basic right for this one above. For the The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would have required that “any health care practitioner present” at the time of a birth “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.” This is not an unborn baby which I fully believes protection from the butcher’s of the abortion industry but one already born and living in a different real estate location. How can 44 people who pledged an allegiance to the basics of our constitution when they took their oath of office vote against protecting their most innocent constituents? More importantly how can we allow these individuals to sit in their seats after such a vote for evil! Everyone of them must be challenged by strong candidates who at least belief in this principle. This is not some party issue but one of good vs evil.

Telemarketing Beware

BILL     No! I didn’t 500 hundred woman shoes I’m not a woman or transgender so why would I.

SALES PERSON–  Well maybe it’s for your wife. Your a nice husband right?

BILL Yes, I’m nice to my wife but trust me I’m not that nice.

SALES PERSON – Well who’s voice is this then?

BILL’S VOICE- Yes I agree

BILL- That is my voice but it sounds like it came from the telemarketing survey I decided to take. You wouldn’t be taking my voice out of content would you?

DIAL TONE

BILL – Hello, hello wait is someone taping my voice now?

Dieting is Difficult

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I know that one might assume this appears quite obvious  but when one attempts to actually shed a few lbs the obvious becomes even more clear. It would appear initially if one cut out a snack or sugary drink that this would cause the lbs to come off   but a great deal of exercise is required as well.  Exercise and diet skills that might require help with professional care that doesn’t have the obvious answers one might automatically assume.  Hey where did I leave my glasses … oh on my head.

Oscars Redeemed !!!

I can understand forgetting my keys but my pants what was I dreaming? Seriously am I cartoon character?  Didn’t I feel the breeze before I actually walked out the door? It’s logical that with the mind I’m still carrying(G-D willing for a lifetime)  that this shouldn’t be possible.  So why didn’t I wake up and smell the pillow case instead?

Oscars Redeemed

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

The Oscars have been redeemed in my reel as “Green Book” has won best picture.  A film that had deep artistic value and still was entertaining to the viewer unlike many of the competitors.  “Green Book” also dealt with the issue of racial injustice in  a way that all sides could relate to and come together to fight against.  In truth the Oscars pretty much got it all right.

FROM CNN & I happy to report this isn’t fake news.

I’M ANGRY!!!

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I’m angry and don’t you dare tell me you don’t know why !!  You really don’t know why…really?  Well let’s just say I expected you to have my back not stab me in it! You have a right to an opinion but not when others take your side instead of mine…Ok?  I don’t care whether you and the Vatican  belief you’re right you’re supposed to be my friend and supporter not just some guy with a White Hat anyway! Well next time think before you speak or at least wait till I leave the room.

FOOTNOTE- You may deny this is the case but tell that to our emotions.

2019 Best Picture Oscar Winner Is……

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

And the winner of the best picture of 2019 goes to “The Green Book”!!  Here (below) is how I determined that this is how the Academy will vote. In the end if it goes this way I’ll be happy because Green Book is actually a great movie.

GREEN BOOK

++  ART- The film is very well made and enjoyable to watch (oops they don’t care about enjoyment)

++ TOUCHING- If this film doesn’t touch you then you might have to go to the ER

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with a bit of  homosexuality and white guilt added.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The main star is African American

BOHEMEMIAN RHAPSODY

++  ART- The film is very well made yet less  enjoyable to watch then the Green Book (oops they don’t care about enjoyment). Great Cinematography is it’s best element.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with a whole lot of  homosexuality and the subject of AIDS.

–   AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- No major African American’s in the cast

BLACK PANTHER

+  ART- The film is a typical super hero film which are generally incredible cinematographic achievements  but  this genre is typically ignored.  Character Development is the best element in this film.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with many African American’s playing key roles in the film and with the history of Oscars segregation this was the real reason it was nominated. Yet we can’t ignore the message of the evil wall/isolation as another factor in it’s selection.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Gets an A+++++

BLACKKkKlansman

+ART- The film is a typical Spike Lee film project which should receive the same accolades and nothing more.

+   POLITICS- If the Academy will base their decision on which film will insult the most Trump supporters this will win hands down. As it prejudices these individuals whether they be African American, Jewish, Hispanic or even White as deep down supporters of the KKK.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The main stars are African American and Jewish. Oh I forget they don’t count people from my tribe.

ROMA

+++  ART- The film is very artistic but so is looking at paint dry on the wall.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with Hispanics playing a bigger part then ever before.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The film is subtitled in English with Spanish spoken here.

A STAR IS BORN

ART- The film is adequate but not exceptional in any of the aspects of film-making. It also is the least entertaining of any of the films in this category.

+   POLITICS- Transgender individuals have a back up roll in this film.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Didn’t make the cut.

VICE- Sorry didn’t see as of yet.

POLITICS Anti- Bush films are so retro I can’t imagine it being selected.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Too many old white male characters to be acceptable to the white guilty academy.

THE FAVOURITE- Didn’t see as well but not my favorite to win.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION – Duplicate of Vice but even whiter.

I Remember Mrs. Hyde

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I remember Mrs Hyde where we didn’t walk over eggshells but ran over them.  Times when one word, look or I honestly don’t know what would set  off a 5 alarm fire for everyone to see. No person was safe from such explosions and many a friend was lost forever at least in the level of trust.   These moments although years ago are still vivid in my mind and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure that they never come alive again. That is why when you say you don’t want to see the “Super- Man” who changed our life because he said things that bothered you; that I’m truly ready to bend steel to make sure that doesn’t occur. Peace is one of the most beautiful things when one has seen war and I will fight to see that it stays in our life.

NO!!!!

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

She said “NO” and it felt as if she aimed it at my heart!  For the word cut through any discussion that might have occurred leaving my thoughts dead.  The silence was deafening as I wondered what caused her to act in such a violent way. For today words are action and that is why I lay on the ground as if the knife has truly penetrated my heart with that one word “NO”!
