2019 Best Picture Oscar Winner Is……

And the winner of the best picture of 2019 goes to “The Green Book”!!  Here (below) is how I determined that this is how the Academy will vote. In the end if it goes this way I’ll be happy because Green Book is actually a great movie.

GREEN BOOK

++  ART- The film is very well made and enjoyable to watch (oops they don’t care about enjoyment)

++ TOUCHING- If this film doesn’t touch you then you might have to go to the ER

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with a bit of  homosexuality and white guilt added.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The main star is African American

BOHEMEMIAN RHAPSODY

++  ART- The film is very well made yet less  enjoyable to watch then the Green Book (oops they don’t care about enjoyment). Great Cinematography is it’s best element.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with a whole lot of  homosexuality and the subject of AIDS.

–   AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- No major African American’s in the cast

BLACK PANTHER

+  ART- The film is a typical super hero film which are generally incredible cinematographic achievements  but  this genre is typically ignored.  Character Development is the best element in this film.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with many African American’s playing key roles in the film and with the history of Oscars segregation this was the real reason it was nominated. Yet we can’t ignore the message of the evil wall/isolation as another factor in it’s selection.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Gets an A+++++

BLACKKkKlansman

+ART- The film is a typical Spike Lee film project which should receive the same accolades and nothing more.

+   POLITICS- If the Academy will base their decision on which film will insult the most Trump supporters this will win hands down. As it prejudices these individuals whether they be African American, Jewish, Hispanic or even White as deep down supporters of the KKK.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The main stars are African American and Jewish. Oh I forget they don’t count people from my tribe.

ROMA

+++  ART- The film is very artistic but so is looking at paint dry on the wall.

+   POLITICS- It is a politically correct film with Hispanics playing a bigger part then ever before.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- The film is subtitled in English with Spanish spoken here.

A STAR IS BORN

ART- The film is adequate but not exceptional in any of the aspects of film-making. It also is the least entertaining of any of the films in this category.

+   POLITICS- Transgender individuals have a back up roll in this film.

+  AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Didn’t make the cut.

VICE- Sorry didn’t see as of yet.

POLITICS Anti- Bush films are so retro I can’t imagine it being selected.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION- Too many old white male characters to be acceptable to the white guilty academy.

THE FAVOURITE- Didn’t see as well but not my favorite to win.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION – Duplicate of Vice but even whiter.
