Who Laughs?

Last night I turned on a “comedy show” and wondered who actually laughs at these jokes?  For example here’s one joke that will haunt me forever  “I should have made waffles”. Trust me it wasn’t the delivery or antics with the line nor even the set up just this one line which had the audience cracking up. This made me think I’m really funny for I’ve actually said this line many a time but with no laughter it must be the audience.  Where can I find these bizarre people so I can have my own syndicated comedy?  Well at least I can top them “I should have made waffles with syrup”. I’m sure in some bizarre galaxy or laugh track it’s hysterical.

Rethink Clinton Impeachment

To be honest the Bob Mueller investigation has had me rethink my opinion on the impeachment of Bill Clinton.  For just as Bob Mueller has drifted way past his scope of the initial investigation of “Russian Collusion so had Ken Starr in the previous administration.  This doesn’t excuse the behavior of Bill Clinton when he lied under oath about an affair while he was in office but I’m not as confident that it was truly a high enough crime to start impeachment proceeding at all.  To be consistent a special prosecutor/investigation should have a tight leach on what is under investigation, budget and time line to pursue a specific action and not be allowed to fish to deeply in one’s personal life.  Especially as it relates to something that occurred before a President was sworn into office. We are not electing a saint but a person who’s past was decided by those who elected her/him and will be judged by a higher authority at a later date.  For what occurs today has a tendency to repeat itself in the future for what every party is in power. Justice must be just for all races, religions and political persuasions.

Met’s Fan- Dream Night

Last night was a dream night for any real Met fan for not only is our team off to the best start in franchise history but the Yankees got blasted by the Red Sox 14-1.  That’s right any real true Blue and Orange Met fan wants the Yankees to lose almost as much as the Met’s to win. Our rivalry across the subway platform goes back to the beginning of beloved Met’s when Yankee fans were less then kind at our baby years.  We continue this tradition for at least a one day gloat knowing history has not been kind as the season’s come to end.  It might not be nice but us Met’s fans are tickling with happiness and laughter after last nights result.

Don’t Ask – Just Go For It

Don’t ask just do it!!  For when you ask you know that someone is going to tilt you to the safe and predictable way so that even if you jump you won’t go with all you have. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think you should go to the cliff but at the same time it is better to live with a scratch or even a break then to die wondering if.  Of course having that team behind you to catch you when you do slip might be necessary even it’s just by one hand but don’t count on them all cheering you all the way.  Maybe it’s my rebel side but once you complete that jump all of sudden everyone will say they were always behind you.

I have so much to say about you, Bud that I don’t know where to begin for usually I’m only up when everyone is sleeping. Now I’ve taken over this one blog piece and the world is my Oyster, that’s right Bud want’s an Oyster unconsciously of course. He may not know it but I do and I’m telling.  I have so much more to say about what he really feels about himself and you as I’m about to break new ground with….  uh oh I feel I’m being pulled back into my place. Proud Of Children

I want to make sure that my children know how very proud I am of them for all they’ve accomplished and for what great people they have become. I’m not sure they will read this post now or in the in future but at least I know it is there for then and the world to see. So here is just a few items that have made me glow with pride.

(1) INDIVIDUAL PURSUITS- My children have excelled in areas that they have found whether it be in music, photography or other art forms that I never saw coming.

(2) EDUCATIONAL ENDEAVORS- They have excelled in their educational achievements where many of their peers have fallen behind.

(3) WORK PERFORMANCE- It’s incredible to see my children grow in their abilities in working on projects and working as a hole.

(4) CARING- Most importantly my children have shown a deeper love and caring attitude to many others that I might have neglected or even ignored.
